Jason Michael Finch (born 27 September 1969) is an English former cricketer. Finch played as a right-handed batsman, who began as a wicket-keeper and went on to play List A cricket as a batsman and an off-break bowler. He was born at Hastings, Sussex Finch played for Sussex County Cricket Club's Second XI, including in fixtures against Oxford and Cambridge University and the Combined Services in 1990 and 1991, and for Sussex Cricket Board in three List A matches in 2001 and 2002.Jason Finch CricketArchive. Hastings
Hastings () is a large seaside town and borough in East Sussex on the south coast of England, east to the county town of Lewes and south east of London. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams.
