Jaroslav Erno Šedivý
Jaroslav Erno Šedivý (born Jaroslav Šedivý on 15 October 1947, Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech rock drummer. He was member of The Primitives Group, thereafter Flamengo ('' Kuře v hodinkách'') and also Energit (briefly in 1973). Jello Biafra
Eric Reed Boucher (born June 17, 1958), known professionally as Jello Biafra, is an American singer, spoken word artist and politician. He is the former lead singer and songwriter for the San Francisco punk rock band Dead Kennedys. Initially active from 1979 to 1986, Dead Kennedys were known for rapid-fire music topped with Biafra's sardonic lyrics and biting social commentary, delivered in his "unique quiver of a voice". When the band broke up in 1986, he took over the influential independent record label Alternative Tentacles, which he had founded in 1979 with Dead Kennedys bandmate East Bay Ray. In a 2000 lawsuit, upheld on appeal in 2003 by the California Supreme Court, Biafra was found liable for breach of contract, fraud and malice in withholding a decade's worth of royalties from his former bandmates and ordered to pay over $200,000 in compensation and punitive damages; the band subsequently reformed without Biafra. The Primitives Group
The Primitives Group is a Czech psychedelic rock group. Founded in 1967, they broke up two years later in 1969. The Primitives Group played cover versions of songs originally performed by The Doors, The Fugs, Pretty Things, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Animals, Mothers of Invention and the Velvet Underground, among others. The Primitives Group joined The Plastic People of the Universe in the 1970s. They reformed in 2016, starting their comeback tour on 18 August 2016 at the Liboc Brewery. Flamengo (Czech Band)
Flamengo was a Czech rock band established in 1966, which, at the peak of its popularity consisted of Vladimír Mišík, Ivan Khunt, Pavel Fořt, Jan Kubík, Vladimír "Guma" Kulhánek, and Jaroslav Erno Šedivý. They only released one studio album, ''Kuře v hodinkách'', which, though banned by the authorities, went on to achieve great success in later years. Flamengo reunited for an anniversary concert in 2012 and were later inducted into the Beatová síň slávy. Career The band's original lineup consisted of Přemysl Černý (drums), František Francl (lead guitar), Pavel Fořt (rhythm guitar), Eduard Vršek (keyboard), Jiří Čížek (bass), and Petr Novák (vocals). Life After Life (band)
Life After Life was an American self-described gypsy punk band (also referred to as a psychedelic punk band), active from 1993 to 1998 and based in San Francisco. The group featured Jim Čert, a Czech accordion-playing folk singer and Jaroslav Erno Šedivý, a Czech drummer noted for his collaborative work with the Plastic People of the Universe, and four American musicians involved in the Bay Area rock scene. History Čert and Šedivý, active on the Czech music scene in the 1980s, were known for their dissent against the communist regime in that country. Both were jailed several times for making music deemed "anti-social" by the government, who would not let musicians perform without state approval. Kuře V Hodinkách
''Kuře v hodinkách'' is the only studio album by the Czechoslovak fusion band Flamengo. Its title is usually translated to English as "Chicken in the Watch", as depicted on the album cover. The record was released on the Supraphon label in 1972. Poet Josef Kainar wrote most of the lyrics, except for the song "Stále dál", which was penned by producer Hynek Žalčík. The recording was banned by the Communist regime under Normalization, and the band broke up shortly after. Energit (band)
Energit is a Czech jazz fusion band from Prague founded in 1973 by guitarist Luboš Andršt, singer Ivan Khunt, drummer Jaroslav Erno Šedivý, and bassist Vladimír Padrůněk. The band's first lineup was short-lived, as that year, Šedivý and Khunt emigrated. In the mid 1970s, their sound was strongly influenced by fusion bands such as the Mahavishnu Orchestra, while also incorporating a horn section. Over the following years, the band featured a number of other musicians, including well-known Czech fusion and rock musicians such as singer Vladimír Mišík, drummer Anatoli Kohout, and pianist Emil Viklický, before disbanding in 1980. Invisibility is the state of an object that cannot be seen. An object in this state is said to be ''invisible'' (literally, "not visible").
