Janne Hyppönen (born 14 September 1970 in Vehkalahti) is a top Finland, Finnish Manager (football), football manager and former player. He has coached Veikkausliiga clus Myllykosken Pallo, MYPA and FC KooTeePee, KooTeePee. Later he has also worked as a coaching director of the youth sector of Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat, KTP, having started in November 2019. Vehkalahti
Vehkalahti () is a List of former municipalities of Finland, former municipality surrounding the town of Hamina in south-eastern Finland. At the beginning of 2003 Hamina and Vehkalahti combined to form a new town of Hamina. History These southern parts of Karelia are known to be the oldest parts of modern Finland with settlements. The first markings of Vehkalahti as a continuous settlement or village date back to 1336, when it became a major place for east/west trading. The plans to build a town grew slowly as the place became crowded. In 1653 the area surrounding the village church officially became a town, which was called Vehkalahden Uusikaupunki (, ). FC KooTeePee was a Finnish football club. History Originally, FC KooTeePee was founded as a reserve team of Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat (KTP, founded 1927). In the year 2000, it became an independent club. At that time, Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat was playing in Veikkausliiga; however, it was relegated to Ykkönen and finally went into bankruptcy. In the same season, KooTeePee was promoted from Kolmonen to Kakkonen, and in two years it made its way to the highest level (coached first by Pasi Rautiainen and then Ismo Lius). In 2013, their last season, the team played in Ykkönen and was coached by Sami Ristilä. Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat
Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat (abbreviated as KTP) is a Finnish association football, football club based in Kotka, and currently competing in Finland's top-tier, the Veikkausliiga. The club was founded in 1927 and its colours are green and white. Immediately after its formation the club joined the Finnish Workers' Sports Federation, to which it still belongs. KTP play its home matches at Arto Tolsa Areena. History KTP had a long football traditions centred on its golden age in the early 1950s when the club won two Finnish championships in 1951 and 1952. They also won the Finnish Cup four times, the most recent occasion being in 1980. The club, playing in the renamed Arto Tolsa Areena, were participating in the Veikkausliiga as recently as 2000, but were relegated to Ykkönen and finally went into bankruptcy.
