James McEwing
James McEwing (April 17, 1850 – August 8, 1921) was a farmer and politician in Ontario, Canada. He represented Wellington West in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1908 to 1911 as a Liberal. The son of James McEwing and Agnes M. Matheson, both natives of Scotland, he was born in Tuckersmith township, Huron County and was educated there. In 1881, he married Louisa Samantha Atkinson. McEwing was a director for the town telephone company and secretary-treasurer and manager for the Peel and Maryborough Mutual Fire Company. He served on the municipal council from 1892 to 1893 and on the Wellington County council from 1897 to 1898 and from 1901 to 1901. McEwing was county warden in 1905. He ran unsuccessfully for the Wellington West seat in 1902. James Tucker (March 15, 1857 – June 7, 1918) was an Ontario farmer and political figure in Canada. William Clarke Chambers
William Clarke Chambers (December 17, 1862 – February 1, 1958) was a Canadian railway contractor, farmer and politician in Ontario. He represented Wellington West in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1911 to 1919 and from 1924 to 1926 as a Conservative. The son of Andrew Chambers and Lucy Clarke, he was born in Wroxeter and grew up on the family farm. He was educated at public schools in Blanchard and Harriston. Chambers worked on various construction projects for the Grand Trunk Railway, the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Canadian National Railway, the Temiskaming and Northern Railway, the Canadian Northern Railway, the Manitoulin & North Shore Railway and the Canada Atlantic Railway. The Province of Canada (or the United Province of Canada or the United Canadas) was a British colony in North America from 1841 to 1867. Wellington is an unincorporated place and community in Prince Edward County in eastern Ontario, Canada. It has a population of 1,932 according to the 2016 Census. Wellington County is a county located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada and is part of the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The County, made up of two towns and five townships, is predominantly rural in nature. However many of the residents in the southern part of the County commute to urban areas such as Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto and Hamilton for employment.
