Jalan Wang Kelian, Federal Route 226 (formerly Perlis State Route R15), is a federal road in Perlis, Malaysia. It is also a main route to Wang Prachan and Satun, Thailand via Wang Prachan Road (National highway 4184). Jalan Wang Kelian is notorious for its narrow and dangerous sharp corners. Wang Kelian
Wang Kelian is a village in Perlis, Malaysia located on the Malaysia-Thailand Border. The village was popular with tourists as it was the location of a border market which straddles both sides of the border. However, it has lost it popularity following the discovery of mass graves of the victims of human trafficking in the area in 2015, for which it is now known for. It is also the location of a minor border crossing into Thailand. Geography Wang Kelian is located in the northern part of the Malaysian state of Perlis, and is one of the northernmost villages in Peninsular Malaysia. Wang Kelian is located at the foot of the Nakawan Range and is surrounded by hills, with many limestone outcrops. Coming from Kaki Bukit and the rest of Perlis, Road R15 has to climb over a low pass to reach Wang Kelian. Perlis, ( Northern Malay: ''Peghelih''), also known by its honorific title Perlis Indera Kayangan, is the smallest state in Malaysia by area and population. Satun (, , ms, Setul) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in southern Thailand, capital of the Satun Province. It covers the whole ''tambon'' Phiman of Mueang Satun. Satun lies 985 km south of Bangkok. Wang Prachan ( th, วังประจัน, ) is a sub-district (''tambon'') of Khuan Don District, Satun Province of Thailand, at the boundary to Malaysia.
