Khuan Don
Khuan Don ( th, ควนโดน, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Satun province, southern Thailand. History The old name of Khuan Don was Duson (ดุสน), which is derived from its original Malay name, ''Dusun'' (Jawi: دوسون). Khuan Don was a minor district ('' king amphoe'') before it was merged to be a part of Mueang Satun district. On 1 February 1977 the government separated Tambon Khuan Don and Khuan Sato to re-establish a minor district. It was upgraded to a full district on 1 January 1988. Geography Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise) Mueang Satun, Tha Phae and Khuan Kalong of Satun Province; Sadao of Songkhla province; and the state Perlis of Malaysia. Kangar
Kangar ( Northern Malay: ''Kangaq''; Jawi: كڠار) is the state capital and the largest town in Perlis, Malaysia. It has a population of 48,898 and an area of 2,619.4 ha. It is located next to the Thailand border, in the northernmost point of Peninsular Malaysia. It is situated by the Perlis River. The town is also a gathering centre for the paddy rice production of the surrounding district. Its municipal government is unified with that of the neighbouring communities of Arau and Kaki Bukit. Wang Kelian
Wang Kelian is a village in Perlis, Malaysia located on the Malaysia-Thailand Border. The village was popular with tourists as it was the location of a border market which straddles both sides of the border. However, it has lost it popularity following the discovery of mass graves of the victims of human trafficking in the area in 2015, for which it is now known for. It is also the location of a minor border crossing into Thailand. Geography Wang Kelian is located in the northern part of the Malaysian state of Perlis, and is one of the northernmost villages in Peninsular Malaysia. Wang Kelian is located at the foot of the Nakawan Range and is surrounded by hills, with many limestone outcrops. Coming from Kaki Bukit and the rest of Perlis, Road R15 has to climb over a low pass to reach Wang Kelian. Perlis, ( Northern Malay: ''Peghelih''), also known by its honorific title Perlis Indera Kayangan, is the smallest state in Malaysia by area and population. Wang Prachan ( th, วังประจัน, ) is a sub-district (''tambon'') of Khuan Don District, Satun Province of Thailand, at the boundary to Malaysia.
