Jake Lehmann
Jake Scott Lehmann (born 8 July 1992) is an Australian cricketer who plays for South Australia. He is the eldest son of former Australian coach Darren Lehmann. Well known for his moustache, Lehmann began his first-class career in the 2014–15 season and enjoyed early success, scoring a double century in his second season. He began playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League in 2015 and hit a match-winning six against the Hobart Hurricanes in the first ball of his career and the last ball of the innings. Domestic career Lehmann first represented South Australia in the Futures League. He made his name in the 2013–14 season of the tournament with 255 runs at an average of 36.42 across four matches, which earned him a rookie contract with South Australia for the following season. Futures League
The Toyota Second XI or Futures League is the Australian national second XI cricket competition. Run by Cricket Australia, it is part of its development program and includes the various state and territory second XI teams, from the 2009–10 season until the 2018–19 season, the tournament was renamed the Futures League because a change of rules restricting teams to only have three players over the age of 23; however, from the 2019–20 season, it is now unrestricted. The 2015–16 Sheffield Shield season was the 114th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition in Australia. The season began after the conclusion of the 2015–16 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup, Matador BBQs One-Day Cup, and included a break halfway through to allow for the 2015–16 Big Bash League season, Big Bash League. The 2015–16 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup was the 46th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition in Australia. It was played over a four-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule before the Sheffield Shield. The tournament was held in Sydney, with most matches broadcast live on free-to-air television on GEM. In the final, New South Wales, who won every round robin game except for one against Victoria, was successful over South Australia, who qualified for the final through a victory in an elimination final against Victoria. Glenelg Oval
Glenelg Oval (currently ACH Group Stadium and formerly Gliderol Stadium @ Glenelg) is located on Brighton Road, Glenelg East, South Australia. The ground is primarily used for Australian rules football and cricket and is the home ground for the Glenelg Football Club in the SANFL competition. Sheffield Shield
The Sheffield Shield (currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Marsh Sheffield Shield) is the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. The tournament is contested between teams from the six states of Australia. Sheffield Shield is named after Lord Sheffield. Prior to the Shield being established, a number of intercolonial matches were played. The Shield, donated by Lord Sheffield, was first contested during the 1892–93 season, between New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria. Queensland was admitted for the 1926–27 season, Western Australia for the 1947–48 season, and Tasmania for the 1977–78 season. South Australian Premier Cricket (previously known as South Australian District Cricket and South Australian Grade Cricket) is the semi-professional State league based in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia.
