The 2014 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup was the 45th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition in Australia. It was played over a four-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule from the Sheffield Shield, held after the tournament's conclusion. The Gabba
The Brisbane Cricket Ground, commonly known as the Gabba, is a major sports stadium in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Australia. Ben Rohrer
Ben Rohrer (born 26 March 1981) is an Australian former cricketer who played for the New South Wales in Australian domestic cricket from 2007 to 2016 and various Twenty20 teams in the Big Bash League. Rohrer had a breakout season in the 2012–13 Big Bash League season, which resulted in his selection for the Australian national cricket team in a Twenty20 International and a contract with the Delhi Daredevils in the 2013 Indian Premier League. Moises Henriques
Moisés Constantino Henriques (; born 1 February 1987) is a Portugal-born Australian professional cricketer who plays for Australia, New South Wales and the Sydney Sixers. An all-rounder, he is the first cricketer born in Portugal to play for Australia in an international match. Nathan Reardon
Nathan Jon Reardon (born 8 November 1984) is a former professional Australian cricketer. He primarily played as a batsman in limited overs matches, playing for his home state of Queensland from 2005 to 2016. He also played Twenty20 cricket in the Big Bash League for four different teams, and represented Australia in two Twenty20 Internationals in November 2014. Allan Border Field
Allan Border Field is a cricket ground in the Brisbane suburb of Albion in Queensland. The Australian Cricket Academy has been based at the oval since 2004 using it as a base for the development of elite cricketers throughout Australia. It was formerly known as ''Neumann Oval'' and was home to the Fortitude Valley Diehards rugby league team from 1909 until 1995. The oval was named for Fred "Firpo" Neumann, Valley's club captain (and later president) and Queensland and Australian representative footballer. Queensland Cricket purchased the ground not long after Valley's relocation and named it in honour of former Australian cricket captain Allan Border. Callum James Ferguson (born 21 November 1984) is a former Australian cricketer and commentator who has represented Australia in all three forms of international cricket.
