Nathan Reardon
Nathan Jon Reardon (born 8 November 1984) is a former professional Australian cricketer. He primarily played as a batsman in limited overs matches, playing for his home state of Queensland from 2005 to 2016. He also played Twenty20 cricket in the Big Bash League for four different teams, and represented Australia in two Twenty20 Internationals in November 2014. Cricket career Reardon made his debut for Queensland in their opening game of the 2005–06 ING Cup on 14 October 2005. He was selected as the team's "super sub" (an experimental rule allowing a player to be substituted into the match partway through) to replace the injured Chris Simpson. He was considered an all-rounder early in his career, combining his batting with medium-pace bowling, but later on bowled less and was included in the team purely for his batting. Big Bash League
The Big Bash League (known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, often abbreviated to BBL or Big Bash) is an Australian professional club Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia. The Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. Michael Hussey
Michael Edward Killeen Hussey (born 27 May 1975) is an Australian cricket coach, commentator and former international cricketer, who played all forms of the game. Hussey is also widely known by his nickname 'Mr Cricket'. Hussey was a relative latecomer to both the one-day international and Test Australian teams, debuting at 28 and 30 years of age in the respective formats, with 15,313 first-class runs before making his Test debut. However, he had a highly successful international career, being the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world in 2006. 2011–12 Ryobi One-Day Cup
The 2011–12 Ryobi One-Day Cup was the 42nd season of official List A domestic cricket in Australia. The season's format reverted to the 50-overs a side format, with Cricket Australia acknowledging the ICC's commitment to 50-over cricket and the 2015 ICC World Cup most likely be staged as a 50-over tournament. Unlike previous seasons, the competition was not a "complete double round robin", and each state played eight preliminary matches instead of ten. The 2011–12 competition was won by the South Australian Redbacks. The final's result was a tie, but the Redbacks had gained a "bonus point" in the round robin series that put them ahead of the Tasmanian Tigers. All-rounder
An all-rounder is a cricketer who regularly performs well at both batting and bowling. Although all bowlers must bat and quite a handful of batsmen do bowl occasionally, most players are skilled in only one of the two disciplines and are considered specialists. Some wicket-keepers have the skills of a specialist batter and have been referred to as all-rounders, but the term ''wicket-keeper-batter'' is more commonly applied to them, even if they are substitute wicket keepers who also bowl.
