Jaison Peters
Rohel Jaison Peters (born 22 November 1989) is a Montserratian cricketer who plays for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He plays as a wicket-keeper. Peters was born in Guyana, but raised on Montserrat, playing for the Montserrat national team in inter-island matches. He made his first-class debut for the Leeward Islands during the 2010–11 Regional Four Day Competition, against Trinidad and Tobago on 11 March 2011, scoring one run in the first innings and 33 in the second as the Leeward Islands won by 29 runs. His only List A appearance came in a Regional Super50 match against the Combined Campuses and Colleges on 24 October 2011; he scored 40 runs and made two dismissals (one catch, one stumping) as the Combined Campuses and Colleges won by four wickets. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. Windward () and leeward () are terms used to describe the direction of the wind. Jahmar Hamilton
Jahmar Neville Hamilton (born 22 September 1990) is an Anguillan cricketer. He plays as wicket-keeper and is part of the Leeward Islands cricket team. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in August 2019. Domestic career He made his Twenty20 debut for the Anguilla cricket team against Grenada at the 2007/08 Stanford 20/20 Tournament in Antigua., and his first class debut for the Leeward Islands in February 2008 against Barbados. In 2013, Hamilton was included in the Antigua Hawksbills squad for the inaugural season of the Twenty20 Caribbean Premier League. He was the top run-scorer for the Leeward Islands in the 2016-17 Regional Four Day Competition, and the only player in the team to score multiple centuries in the tournament. The Super50 Cup, currently named the CG Insurance Super50 Cup for sponsorship purposes is the domestic one-day cricket competition in the West Indies. It was previously known as the KFC Cup until the fast food chain pulled out of sponsorship in 2008 and the WICB Cup until 2011. Afterwards it was known the Regional Super50 until 2014 when NAGICO Insurance became the title sponsor and it became the NAGICO Regional Super50 until 2021. 2010–11 Regional Four Day Competition
The 2010–11 Regional Four Day Competition was the 45th domestic first-class cricket tournament held in the West Indies, it took place from 4 February 2011 – 9 April 2011. In addition to the seven Caribbean teams, the tournament also featured the England Lions. The tournament consisted of a round-robin that was followed by semi-finals where the top four teams competed. Although the Lions finished 3rd in the table, they were ineligible to play in the knock-out phase. Jamaica won the tournament after beating Combined Campuses and Colleges in the final, it was their 4th tournament win in succession and their 11th overall. Jamaica had advanced to the final after a controversial semi-final against Trinidad and Tobago; although the match was drawn, Jamaica advanced because the previous result in the league between the two teams ended in their favour. Montserrat National Cricket Team
The Montserrat cricket team has represented the British Overseas Territory of Montserrat in cricket. The team is not a member of the International Cricket Council, but the Montserrat Cricket Association is a member of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, which itself is a member association of the West Indies Cricket Board, and players from Montserrat generally represent the Leeward Islands cricket team at domestic level and the West Indies at international level. Montserrat has however played as a separate entity in matches which held Twenty20 status, but has not appeared in first-class or List A cricket. Leeward Islands Cricket Team
The Leeward Islands cricket team is a first class cricket team representing the member countries of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, an associate of the West Indies Cricket Board. Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, Montserrat, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands and Sint Maarten are members of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association.
