2010–11 Regional Four Day Competition
The 2010–11 Regional Four Day Competition was the 45th domestic first-class cricket tournament held in the West Indies, it took place from 4 February 2011 – 9 April 2011. In addition to the seven Caribbean teams, the tournament also featured the England Lions. The tournament consisted of a round-robin that was followed by semi-finals where the top four teams competed. Although the Lions finished 3rd in the table, they were ineligible to play in the knock-out phase. Jamaica won the tournament after beating Combined Campuses and Colleges in the final, it was their 4th tournament win in succession and their 11th overall. Jamaica had advanced to the final after a controversial semi-final against Trinidad and Tobago; although the match was drawn, Jamaica advanced because the previous result in the league between the two teams ended in their favour. West Indies Cricket Board
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. Rayad Emrit
Rayad Ryan Emrit (born 8 March 1981) is a West Indian cricketer. Emrit has represented the West Indies Senior team, making his first ODI appearance just a year after his regional debut in 2007. Emrit maintained discipline and motivation and defied the odds to be next selected for the West Indies T20 Champion team in 2018 against New Zealand. Amit Jaggernauth
Amit Sheldon Jaggernauth (born 16 November 1983) is a former West Indian cricketer who featured as an off spinner. Jaggernauth mainly played as a first-class cricketer for Trinidad and Tobago. Career In recent years, Jaggernauth has been one of the most consistent wicket-takers in the Carib Beer Cup, the West Indies domestic first-class competition. He made his first-class debut for Trinidad and Tobago in 2002/03 and has since taken nearly 150 wickets at an average of 22.08. Nigel Duguid (born 25 November 1969) is a West Indian cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match between the West Indies and Ireland on 21 February 2014. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match between the West Indies and England on 5 March 2017. The Three Ws Oval (Most commonly styled '3Ws Oval') is a cricket field at the entrance of the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies in Barbados. Mostly known for the sculpture in the shape of three large wickets that stand tall on the incline above the field, the 3Ws Oval was one of the team warm-up venues for the 2007 Cricket World Cup finals, which were played at the nearby Kensington Oval stadium.
