Jaguar I-Pace ETrophy
The Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy was a battery electric zero-emission international motor racing series supporting the FIA Formula E Championship which ran two seasons from late 2018 to mid 2020. The series was cancelled after the 2019–20 season, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ''eTrophy'' saw entrants compete in a race-prepared Jaguar I-Pace, also bearing the same name as the series, with the races taking place on selected Formula E weekends. Overview The series was announced on 12 September 2017 at the Frankfurt Autoshow by chairman of Jaguar Racing Gerd Mäuser and Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag. Car The I-Pace racecar (carrying the same name as the series itself) was built by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, and developed from the road going Jaguar I-Pace. Simon Evans (racing Driver)
Simon Evans (born 12 November 1990) is a racing driver from New Zealand and is the Champion of the 2019-2020 Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy season having driven for Team Asia New Zealand. He is the brother of Formula E racer Mitch Evans. Career In 2012, the all-new V8SuperTourer category was launched and Evans secured an endurance drive with Kayne Scott for Farmer Racing Services. The pair achieved a podium at the Pukekohe 500. In 2013, Evans took over Scott's entry and raced the full season. Evans would finish 16th overall, with only a single podium over the season. In 2014, Evans claimed seven podium finishes and finished runner up behind four-time Bathurst 1000 winner, Greg Murphy. Evans would then win what would prove to be the final season for the V8SuperTourer category. The International Motor Show Germany or International Mobility Show Germany, in German known as the ''Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung'' (''IAA'' – International Automobile Exhibition), is one of the world's largest mobility shows. Salvador Durán
Salvador Durán Sánchez (born 6 May 1985) is a Mexican race car driver who raced in the FIA Formula E Championship for the Amlin Aguri team. Durán has also previously competed in A1 Grand Prix, Formula Renault 3.5, and the NASCAR Toyota Series. Career Born in Mexico City, Durán started his career in 2002 with a 2nd place in the Skip Barber National and winning the Midwestern Champion trophy. The 2019 Mexico City ePrix (formally the 2019 CBMM Niobium Mexico City E-Prix) was a Formula E Electric motorsport, electric car race held at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the centre of Mexico City on 16 February 2019. Mario Domínguez
Mario Domínguez (born December 1, 1975, in Mexico City) is a Mexican racing driver. He has competed in the CART and CCWS Champ Car series and later the IndyCar Series. Early career Domínguez first began racing in 1987 driving go-karts. He won three go-karting championships and represented Mexico in the World Karting Championships in Spain (1989), Italy (1990) and France (1991). He then raced in numerous developmental series in Mexico, eventually winning the Mexican Formula Three Championship in 1998 and moving to the American Indy Lights series full-time in 1999, finishing 8th in the championship in 2000 and 4th in the series' final year, 2001. The 2018 Ad Diriyah ePrix (formally the 2018 SAUDIA Ad Diriyah E-Prix) was a Formula E electric car race held at the Riyadh Street Circuit in the town of Diriyah, which is located north-west of the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, on 15 December 2018 before a crowd of about 23,000 spectators. Alice Elizabeth Fraser Powell (born 26 January 1993) is a British racing driver. In 2010, she became the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and in 2012 became the first woman to score points in the GP3 Series.
