Sheila Miyoshi Jager (born 1963) is an American historian. She is a Professor of East Asian Studies at Oberlin College, author of two books on Korea, co-editor of a third book on Asian nations in the post-Cold War era, and a forthcoming book on great power competition in northeast Asia at the turn of the 19th-20th century. She is a well-known historian of Korea and East Asia. Early life Sheila Miyoshi Jager was born in 1963. She is of Dutch and Japanese ancestry. Maja Buskbjerg Jager (born 22 December 1991) is a Danish recurve archer. A two-time competitor at the Olympic Games (2012 and 2020), Jager was the women's individual champion at the 2013 World Archery Championships, an achievement for which she was awarded the Danish Sports Name of the Year prize for 2013. Thomas Michael Jager (born October 6, 1964) is an American former competition swimmer. He is five-time Olympic gold medalist in relay events, a two-time World Championship individual gold medalist for the 50-meter freestyle, and a former world record-holder in two events. Jager set the 50-meter freestyle world record on six occasions during his career. He held this record for over ten years from August 1989 to June 2000. Henry Jager (born 1879) was an American politician from New York. Life He emigrated from the Kingdom of Romania to the United States, and was naturalized in 1900 in New York. In 1911, he removed to Maywood, New Jersey. He engaged in the real estate business, and was active in politics as a Socialist organizer. In April 1914, he ran on the Socialist Labor ticket for Congress at a special election in New Jersey's 7th congressional district, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Robert G. Bremner, and polled 104 votes. He came in last, behind Dow H. Drukker (Rep.), James J. O'Byrne (Dem.), Gordon Demarest (Soc.) and Henry C. Whitehead (Progr.). Marike Jager (born 4 February 1979 in Amersfoort) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, guitarist and television presenter. She grew up in Leusden and learned to play the guitar while backpacking through Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa. There she wrote her first song 'Lizzy'.
