Jade Yachts
Jade Yachts is a Taiwanese yacht manufacturer headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. History Jade Yachts was founded in 2004 as a subsidiary of Jong Shyn Shipbuilding Company specializing in steel and aluminum yachts. In 2006 the yard delivered the 26.46-metre ''Bandido'', which was the first steel-hulled motor yacht ever built in Taiwan. In 2014 the company created a floating pavilion for the Taiwan International Boat Show. In 2016 the yard gave the 65 m Benetti ''Ambrosia III'' its 10-year refit. Vessels Amadeus/Felix Felix is a 70 m yacht launched in 1969 as a research vessel by Neue Jadewerft and converted into a luxury yacht by Jade Yachts in 2007. Horizon Yacht (often referred to as Horizon Yachts) is a Taiwanese yacht manufacturer headquartered in the city of Kaohsiung. In 2018 Horizon was the tenth largest yacht builder in the world by total feet of yacht delivered. History Horizon Yacht was founded in 1987 by John Lu, Gong Shan Chiai, and Cheng Shun Hui in Kaohsiung. Founded to supply yachts to domestic and American buyers, the company began targeting the European, Australian, and Asian markets in 1989. In the late 2010s expansion of Taiwan's domestic yachting market was beginning to allow Horizon to fulfill its original intention of selling domestically. Ta Shing Yacht Building () is a yacht builder located in Tainan, Taiwan. The company was founded in 1957 under the ''Shing Sheng'' brand name. Between its founding and 2015, the yard has delivered over 1,200 custom-made boats. Ta Shing designs and builds under its own brand including Taswell, Tashiba, Orion and also as an OEM for Mason, Baba, Panda, Skye, Mystic and Nordhavn.
