Iraqis in Denmark consist of both immigrants from Iraq to Denmark and their descendants, and may hold either Iraqi or Danish citizenship. ''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). Mohamed Ahmed Ali ( ar, محمد علي; born 7 September 1993) is a Danish singer of mixed Egyptian and Iraqi origin. Mohamed Ali also known by the mononym Mohamed was born in Nørresundby, Aalborg. Anja Al-Erhayem ( ar, أنيا الإرحيم; born 1971 in Denmark) is a Danish filmmaker born to an Iraqi father and Danish mother. Before the US-led invasion of Iraq The 2003 invasion of Iraq was a United States-led invasion of the Ba'athist Iraq, Republic of Iraq and the first stage of the Iraq War. Fenar Ahmad
Fenar Ahmad (in Arabic فنار أحمد) is a Danish filmmaker of Iraqi origin. He was born in 1981 in Czechoslovakia to immigrant Iraqi parents. In 1986 the family emigrated to Denmark. There he studied film in the alternative film school Super16. Ahmad is known for the award-winning 2010 short film ''Megaheavy'', co-written by Ahmad and Jacob Katz Hansen and directed by Ahmad. It won Robert Award for Best Short Fiction/Animation for 2010 during the 27th Robert Awards in Copenhagen on 7 February 2010. In 2014, Ahmad directed the long feature film '' Flow'' (also known by the Danish title ''Ækte vare'') starring Danish rapper Kian Rosenberg Larsson, better known as Gilli.
