''Initial D Arcade Stage'' (D アーケード ステージ) (commonly referred to as ''IDAS'', followed by the game's version number) is an arcade racing game series developed by Sega, based on the anime and manga series '' Initial D''. In the United States and Europe, the game series is simply known as ''Initial D''. Premise In ''Initial D Arcade Stage'', players race against different opponents through various mountain passes featured in the manga. The Mazda RX-7 is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, rotary engine-powered sports car that was manufactured and marketed by Mazda from 1978 until 2002 across three generations, all of which made use of a compact, lightweight Wankel rotary engine. New Initial D The Movie
is a 2014–2016 Japanese anime film series based on the manga series ''Initial D'' by Shuichi Shigeno. The movie is a retelling of the early stages of the manga and is split into three parts with the first part, ''Legend 1: Awakening'' released on August 23, 2014.
