Ibn Battuta Mall
The Ibn Battuta Mall is a large shopping mall on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE, close to Interchange 6 for Jebel Ali Village. Overview Having around 275 shops, 50 restaurants, and over 4,500 parking spaces on a total of , Ibn Battuta is the world's largest themed shopping mall. On 26 May 2013, Nakheel announced the tender for Ibn Battuta Mall expansion – a new, retail hub for another 150 shops. This expansion had introduced new shops in the mall, such as Decathlon, Brands for Less, and includes a new food court in the upgraded metro link. The mall contains several activities such as a trampoline park, a light exhibition, the Carrefour hypermarket and a 21-screen cinema theatre by Novo cinemas. Zheng He (; 1371–1433 or 1435) was a Chinese mariner, explorer, diplomat, fleet admiral, and court eunuch during China's early Ming dynasty. Ibn Battuta (Dubai Metro)
Ibn Battuta ( ar, ابن بطوطة) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Jebel Ali and surrounding areas. The station is named after the nearby Ibn Battuta Mall. The station opened as part of the Red Line on 30 April 2010. Ibn Battuta station is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road between major junctions with the D59 and D591 roads.
