Ivar Ruste
Ivar Ruste (23 September 1916 – 25 February 1985) was a Norwegian singer. He was born in 1916 in Kristiania. He made his stage debut at age 17, but had to work odd jobs to support his singing. His career took off in the 1940s and 1950s, with ''Mor, kjære mor'' selling 28,000 copies. He also participated in the television show ''Husker du'', and became known for his touring of retirement homes together with Odd Grythe and Arnt Haugen. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Odd Grythe
Odd Horn Grythe (14 November 1918 – 7 February 1995) was a Norwegian radio and television personality. Personal life He was born in Lillehammer as a son of a travelling salesman. He had four older siblings. From 1955 to 1958 he was married to Kirsten Sørlie. In March 1962 he married Ada Haug. With his first wife he had the daughter Hilde Grythe, who married Terje Tønnesen. Career He finished his secondary education in his hometown, and then moved to Oslo. He worked different office jobs, and also for a short time at Centralteatret. During the Second World War he was a part of the Norwegian resistance movement in Lillehammer. He was arrested on 23 March 1945 and was imprisoned in Grini concentration camp from 13 April 1945 until the war's end. Arnt Haugen
Arnt Haugen (January 3, 1928 – June 26, 1988) was a Norwegian accordionist and music journalist from Kongsberg, known from over 100 LP releases. Haugen was born in Jondalen in Buskerud county. After studying to be a journalist, he worked for the newspaper ''Fremtiden'' and the music journal ''Rytme'' from 1955 to 1962. Later he edited ''Trekkspill-Nytt'' (Accordion News).
