Ivana Radovniković
Ivana Radovniković (; born 15 December 1985 in Zadar, Croatia) is a Croatian pop singer. Family life Radovniković is the daughter of Albert, a tennis trainer and physical education professor, and mother Ozana, a professor. She has younger sister called Antonia. Ivana attended Juraj Baraković High School in Zadar, after which she moved to Zagreb to study political science. Professional background Ivana received several awards including one for the best vocal interpretation. She has been noted to possess the ability called whistle register, but she does not use this often; she prefers to sing more powerful and mid-range notes. As a child, Ivana did not really aspire to become a singer, but her life and talent gave her a chance to be one. Her first major role in entertainment came in 2003 when she joined the TV show for new singers. Marko Tomasović (born 18 May 1976) is a Croatian composer and songwriter. He composed and wrote more than 300 songs. His work has covered various genres. Marko is a member of Croatian Composers' Society, and he was listed as one of the 10 most performed authors in Croatia in 2004. Early life and career He was born on 18 May 1976 in Zagreb, Croatia where he lived most of his life. He grew up listening to artist like Roxette, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Cher. In 1994, Ladislav Račić gave him a chance to teach music on Rock Academia in Zagreb. Two years later, he had additional training with Professor Vanja Lisak. Lisak recommended Marko to his colleague Zdenka Kovačiček and shortly after that they initiate collaboration. The HR Top 40 are the main Croatian domestic singles airplay chart, issued weekly by the Croatian Music Institute (Institut Hrvatske Glazbe) and the Croatian Phonographic Association (Hrvatska Diskografska Udruga) through Top lista. The charts are a record of the most played domestic songs in various genres in Croatia. HR Top 40 became the official Croatian airplay chart in December 2012. History The chart launched on 24 January 2013 with the data collected from the 14th of January to the 20th of January being published in the first issue of the chart. Originally, the data from 80 radio stations was collected to form a list of the 40 most played domestic songs in Croatia. Zadarfest
Zadarfest is a music festival held annually since 1993 in Zadar, Croatia. In 2010, it was held in the Višnjik Hall, but was criticized for lack of appeal to the audience. The 2011 edition was moved to Kukljica on a nearby island, but was plagued by bad weather and attendance issues as well. The festival gives out several awards, the highest being the Grand Prix.
