Ireland Live
''Ireland Live'' was an Irish television news and current affairs service produced by UTV Ireland. ''Ireland Live'' featured national, international and regional news, including extended reports, interviews and sports coverage during its flagship hour-long programme at 10pm on weeknights. UTV Ireland's chief news anchor was Alison Comyn. The news service was produced and broadcast from UTV Ireland's headquarters at Macken House in Dublin's Docklands, with district reporters and camera crews based at regional newsrooms in Cork, Limerick and Galway. UTV's Northern Ireland newsrooms in Belfast, Derry and the Parliament Buildings in Stormont are also utilised. International news coverage is provided by independent broadcast agency Feature Story News. UTV Ireland's head of news was Marcus Lehnen, with Margaret Ward and Cece Leadon as executive producers. Alison Comyn
Alison Comyn (born 28 October 1969, Drogheda, County Louth) is an Irish television journalist and broadcaster. She currently presents Sky World News on Sky News, and occasionally presented Sunrise with Stephen Dixon, She was formerly the news anchor of UTV Ireland's weekday news and current affairs programmes ''Ireland Live'' news and ''Ireland Live news at 10'' which aired between January 2015 and January 2017. It won the IFTA for Best News programme for its Brexit coverage in 2016. Journalism career Comyn previously worked on programmes with RTÉ, BBC, Sky News and Channel 4. Prior to working at UTV Ireland, she was a reporter with Independent Newspapers, covering regional, political, crime and current affairs issues, including her column "Comyn Sense". Jenny Buckley (born 1979) is an Irish actress and television presenter, who is currently the main weather presenter on UTV Ireland, a position she has held since the channel's launch in January 2015. She also presents the channel's entertainment bulletin, ''The Pulse''. Career A native of Howth, Dublin, Buckley started acting on stage and screen, appearing in productions such as ''The Woman Who Walked into Doors'' and ''Tara Road''. ''Good Morning Britain'' (often abbreviated to ''GMB'') is a British breakfast television programme that is broadcast on ITV. It debuted on 28 April 2014 and is broadcast live every weekday from 6:00am to 9:00am across Britain and Northern Ireland. Parliament Buildings, often referred to as Stormont because of its location in the Stormont Estate area of Belfast, is the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly, the devolved legislature for the region.
