Joan Hester
Joan L. Hester (née Goshorn; November 20, 1932 – November 19, 2019) was an American politician in the state of Iowa. Hester was born in Persia, Iowa. She was married to Jack W. Hester, who served in the Iowa State Senate. A Republican, she served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1985 to 1995 (98th district from 1985 to 1993 and 82nd district from 1993 to 1995). Curt Hanson
Curtis Dean "Curt" Hanson (August 13, 1943 – June 16, 2017) was an American politician. He was born and raised on a Kossuth County, Iowa farm near Swea City. He was also a resident of Fairfield for fifty-two years. Hanson received his B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa and his M.A. from the University of Iowa. He was a driver education teacher at Fairfield High School for forty-three years, where he received the Fairfield Jaycee Outstanding Young Education Award and was named Fairfield Teacher of the Year Award. Hanson also was president of the Iowa Association of Safety Education and a member of the National Education Society. Hanson was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives. Linda J. Miller (born August 27, 1947) is the Iowa State Representative from the 94th District. A Republican, she has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2007. , Miller serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Education and Labor committees. Joseph I. Hutter (August 31, 1937 – April 18, 2015) was an American politician who was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. He represented the 82nd district. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa, to Irvin and Marie Hutter (née Ryan). He served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1958, then moved to Bettendorf, where he worked as a police officer until he retired in 1994. Dorothy F. Carpenter (; March 13, 1933 – April 2, 2011) was an American politician. She was a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 1980 to 1994. Early life Carpenter was born on March 13, 1933, in Ismay, Montana. Her parents were Daniel A. Fulton and Mary Ann Fulton (née George). She grew up on a ranch assisting her father. She attended Custer County High School in Miles City, Montana, where she graduated in 1951. She received a bachelor's of arts degree in history from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, in 1955. While at the college, she met Thomas Ward Carpenter who she married the same year.
