Intercity Football League 2007
The 2007 season was the first season of the Intercity Football League in Taiwan. Eight teams were scheduled to compete in the 2007 league season, but Kaohsiung County withdrew before the league's opening. The seven remaining teams were Taipei City (represented by Tatung F.C.), Taipei County, Tainan City, Tainan County, Chiayi County (sponsored by Le Beau Max Resort), Kaohsiung City, and Yilan County, Taiwan, Yilan County. Intercity Football League
Intercity Football League () was the top-ranked division in the Taiwanese football (soccer) league run by Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA), run from 2007 until 2016. From 2017, it was replaced by the Taiwan Football Premier League. History The Intercity Football League was founded in 2007 after the transformation of then highest-ranked National First Division Football League (later Enterprise Football League). Different from the later, registered players were initially grouped by their Administrative divisions of the Republic of China, places of residence, such as Tainan City, rather than specialized football teams, such as Taiwan Power Company F.C., Taiwan Power Company (Taipower). The only exception was Tatung F.C., Tatung FC, who represented Taipei City to compete in the league. Chiang Mu-tsai
Chiang Mu-tsai () is a Taiwanese football manager and former player. When he was a player, he had played for Tatung F.C. In 1988, he was appointed Tatung's head coach. Since then he has played a key role in its success, leading the team to win the 2005 and 2006 seasons of Enterprise Football League (formerly named National Men's First Division Football League) and achieve semi-final in AFC President's Cup 2006. From 1994 to 2000, he also served as Chinese Taipei national football team's head coach. Chinese Taipei Football Association
Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) is the governing body for football in the Republic of China (commonly known as Taiwan). Its official name in Chinese is the Republic of China Football Association, but due to the political status of Taiwan it is billed abroad as the "Chinese Taipei Football Association" and uses the English initials TPE on its badge. The CTFA organizes the men's and women's national teams and administers the territory's professional league the Taiwan Football Premier League. As members of East Asian Football Federation its national teams are eligible for the EAFF E-1 Football Championship and the country's membership in AFC allows teams to participate in that organizations club and national team competitions. Huang Wei-yi
Huang Wei-yi (, born 11 September 1985 in Yilan, Republic of China) is a Taiwanese football striker who currently plays for Tatung F.C. He comes from Atayal tribe. In 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification games, he scored 3 goals, which were the only goals received by Chinese Taipei. In 2000, Huang started playing for the Ilan Youth soccer team, for which he capped 22 times and scored 10 goals. On August 13, 2005, Huang was transferred to Tatung F.C. after his talents were noticed when playing for the Chinese Taipei National Football League. Lo Chih-an (; born 28 December 1988) is a Taiwanese football player who comes from Atayal tribe. Tseng Tai-lin
Tseng Tai-lin (, born in Taipei) is a Taiwanese football (soccer) and futsal player. Nicknamed ''Little Tiger'', Tseng started to play football at Li Nong Elementary School () in Taipei. His usual position is an attacking midfielder. He was once praised as "the best footballer in Taiwan" by then Yugoslavian coach of NSTC football team in 2003. He was also voted the best attacking midfielder during the Chinese Taipei National Football League 2005 season when he played for Ming Chuan University. Chang Wu-yeh
Chang Wu-yeh (; born 19 December 1978 in Taichung County (now part of Taichung City)) is a Taiwanese football manager and former player. He currently manages Taipei Physical Education College's football team. Player career Chang, unlike many of his teammates who have played football since young ages, started his football career at the age of 14. After graduating from junior high school, he was enrolled into National Dajia Industrial Senior High School (). He performed well in domestic youth competitions. He also played for the Taipei City Bank F.C. in the Chinese Taipei National Football League when he was 18. However, he did not pass the entrance examination of Taipei Physical Education College.
