InterContinental Kaohsiung
InterContinental Kaohsiung (Chinese：高雄洲際酒店) is a five star hotel located in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is located on the lower floors of the tall Farglory THE ONE skyscraper building. The hotel opened on November 21, 2021, and is the first InterContinental hotel in the country. Location The hotel is located at the heart of Kaohsiung's Asia New Bay Area, near Kaohsiung International Airport, Kaohsiung Main Station and Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. Part of the Farglory THE ONE complex, the hotel commences from the 1st to the 16th floor of the second tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung, and fourth tallest in Taiwan. Facilities InterContinental Kaohsiung is operated by InterContinental and offers a total of 253 guest rooms and suites. Cianjhen District () is a district in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It covers an area of and is subdivided into 59 villiages. The District has a population is 180,828, as of May 2022. It is the fifth-most populated district in Kaohsiung, with a population density of 9,457 people per square kilometer, or 24,494 people per square mile. Kaohsiung International Airport
Kaohsiung International Airport () is a medium-sized civil airport in Siaogang District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, also known as Siaogang Airport (). With nearly seven million passengers in 2018, it is the second busiest airport in Taiwan, after Taoyuan. Kaohsiung Exhibition Center
The Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (KEC; ) is a convention center in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. History Designed by Australian architect, Philip Cox, the KEC was initiated in 2006 and built by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in which has invested NT$ 3 billion to the venue. After seven years of planning and two years of construction, the grand opening of the center was held on 14 April 2014. Organization The Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Corporation manages the daily operation and maintenance of the center for the next 12.5 years. The company invested NT$ 250 million to upgrade the center and expects to generate return on investment of up to NT$ 3.4 billion by the end of 2026. Kaohsiung Main Station () is a railway and metro station in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan served by the Taiwan Railways and Kaohsiung Rapid Transit. The Farglory THE ONE () is a skyscraper located in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the fourth tallest building in Taiwan and the second tallest in Kaohsiung.
