In-Joy
In-Joy was a Danish boyband that took part in the third season of the Danish ''X Factor'' in 2010. The four-member band was made of Esbjørn Nordby Birch (as Essi), Jannick Ricky Fritze, Kevin Sparwath Nielsen and Nabil Moujahid (older brother of the singer Basim), himself an earlier successful ''X Factor'' contestant and performer even after the competition. At the time of the competition (2010), Essi was 25, Nabil 24, Jannick 20 and Kevin 16. Essi was from Aarhus and worked in Post Denmark, Nabil from Høje Gladsaxe and followed a music and dancing career, Jannick from Vejle but lived in Copenhagen and worked as a waiter and finally youngest Kevin from Herlev, a 9th-grade student, but pursuing theatrical studies for seven years at Eventyrteatret, an acting school. The first three had all written songs on their own. Basim (singer)
Anis Basim Moujahid (born 4 July 1992), better known as Basim, is a Danish pop singer and songwriter. He is of Moroccan origin. He has released two albums, '' Alt det jeg ville have sagt'' in 2008 and '' Befri dig selv'' in 2009. Basim represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home ground in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song " Cliche Love Song". The following year he was the Danish spokesperson at Eurovision. Career 2008: ''The X Factor'' and ''Alt det jeg ville have sagt'' At age of 15, he took part in the 2008 edition of the talent program ''The X Factor'' and reached the quarterfinals before being voted out. After ''X Factor'', Basim released his debut album in 2008 entitled '' Alt det jeg ville have sagt'' (meaning "Everything I would have said"). X Factor (Denmark)
''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). The original judging panel consisted of Thomas Blachman, Lina Rafn and Remee. The current panel consists of Blachman and Martin Jensen. Former judges include Soulshock, Pernille Rosendahl, Cutfather, Ida Corr, Anne Linnet, Mette Lindberg, Sanne Salomonsen and Oh Land. The original host was Lise Rønne. The current host is Sofie Linde, who has hosted the show since season 9. Former presenters include Signe Muusmann and Signe Molde. Boyband
A boy band is loosely defined as a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation. Generally, boy bands perform love songs marketed towards girls and young women. Many boy bands dance as well as sing, usually giving highly choreographed performances. South Korean boy bands usually also have designated rappers. Some such bands are formed on their own, often evolving out of church choral or gospel music groups. Høje Gladsaxe is a large housing project, approximately 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The project contains five 15-storey blocks, two 8-storey blocks and some smaller blocks. Herlev
Herlev is a suburb about 9 km northwest of Copenhagen city centre. It is the site of the municipal council of Herlev Municipality, Denmark. Sports Herlev is the hometown of former Vancouver Canuck Jannik Hansen. Herlev is known for its hockey team, the Herlev Hornets. Attractions Herlev Hospital is in height. It is famous for being Denmark's tallest building and the fifth tallest hospital in the world. Carsten Schack (born 1968 in Gug, Denmark) and better known by his stage name Soulshock is a Danish record producer and songwriter. Beginnings Carsten Schack was born in the Aalborg suburb of Gug, the son of economics professor Bent Schack and physician assistant Åse Schack. In the early 1990s he dated choreographer Toniah Pedersen for 3 years. Since 1993 he had been living in Los Angeles in the USA with his girlfriend Charmayne Maxwell, former vocalist of American R&B group Brownstone, with whom he has a son, Nicholas. His music career began as a DJ, when in 1989 he came joint third place in the DMC European Mixing Championships. Kamaljit Singh Jhooti (born 26 March 1981), better known by the stage name Jay Sean, is a British singer and songwriter.
