Iki-Burulsky District (russian: И́ки-Буру́льский райо́н; xal-RU, Ик Буурла район, ''İk Buurla rayon'', ) is an administrativeDecree #137 and municipalLaw #308-IV-Z district (raion), one of the thirteen in the Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Iki-Burul. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 11,424, with the population of Iki-Burul accounting for 35.5% of that number. Tulip
Tulips (''Tulipa'') are a genus of spring-blooming perennial herbaceous bulbiferous geophytes (having bulbs as storage organs). Yergeni
Yergeni (russian: Ергени; xal, Ergnin җirn zurһan shiir) is a hilly area in Russia. It is located in the southern corner of the East European Plain, mostly in Kalmykia, with parts in Volgograd Oblast and Rostov Oblast. The highest point of Kalmykia, high Shared, is located in the Yergeni hills. In Kalmykia the hills stretch from Sarpinsky District to the north to Iki-Burulsky District in the south. A raion (also spelt rayon) is a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states. The term is used for both a type of subnational entity and a division of a city. The word is from the French (meaning 'honeycomb, department'), and is commonly translated as "district" in English.
