Ihor Stakhiv
Ihor Olehovych Stakhiv ( uk, Ігор Олегович Стахів, born 30 July 1999 in Lviv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian luger. Career Stakhiv started his sporting career as a singles rider. At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, he finished 13th in the boys' singles competition. He was also 7th in team relay (together with Smaha, Lysetskyy, and Levkovych). Stakhiv's first World Cup season was the 2016-17 season when he competed in Pyeongchang, South Korea. He finished 33rd in his first and only singles race at the World Cup. Later, he switched to doubles and was teamed with Andrii Lysetskyi. Their first World Cup race was during the 2018-19 season in Igls, Austria, where they finished 20th. Olympic Sliding Centre Innsbruck
The Olympic Sliding Centre Innsbruck is a venue for bobsleigh, luge and skeleton located in Igls, Austria (southeast of Innsbruck). Luge At The 2022 Winter Olympics
Luge at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be held at the Xiaohaituo Bobsleigh and Luge Track which is one of the Yanqing cluster venues between 5 and 10 February 2022. A total of 106 quota spots were distributed to the sport of luge, a decline of four from the 2018 Winter Olympics. A total of four events were contested, one for men, one open event, one for women and one mixed. Qualification A maximum of 106 athletes will be allowed to compete at the Games. Countries will assigned quotas using the results of Olympic Qualification World Cup Ranking List from 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2021.
