Igor Kordey
Igor Kordej (referred to as Igor Kordey in American and French publications; born 23 June 1957) is a croats, Croatian comic book artist, illustrator, graphic designer and scenographer of international reputation. Early life Igor Kordej graduated at ŠPUD (The School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb), graphic department (1972-1977) and attended two years at Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, graphic department (1977-1979). Career Novi kvadrat Igor Kordej started as a professional graphic designer when he was 18, and as a professional comic artist and illustrator when he was 19 years old, joining a very influential group of comic artists ''Novi kvadrat'' (New square) 1976–1979, and publishing in all relevant Yugoslavian youth magazines of that era. Darko Macan (born 1966) is a Croatian writer and illustrator who has created and collaborated on comics, essays and science fiction and fantasy. He is also an editor. Biography Born in Zagreb, where he still lives, he has a degree in history and archeology from the University of Zagreb. He has drawn and written many comic books, mostly in Croatian, but in 1993 he broke into the American comics industry when he and fellow Croatian artist Edvin Biuković submitted their work to Dark Horse Comics. Joseph Quesada (; born January 12, 1962'' Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1650; February 2009; page 107) is an American comic book artist, writer, editor, and television producer. He became known in the 1990s for his work on various Valiant Comics books, such as ''Ninjak'' and ''Solar, Man of the Atom''. Marcus McLaurin is an American comic-book writer and editor known for developing and editing the influential Marvel Comics series ''Marvels''. Biography Marc McLaurin joined Marvel as an assistant editor. He rose to become a full editor working on the Epic Comics imprint and on other Marvel projects. Semic Press is a Swedish comic book publishing company that operated from 1963 to 1997. Known for original comics as well as translated American and European titles, Semic was for a long time the country's largest comic book publisher. For many years, Semic published the official translations of American (mostly) superhero comics produced by DC Comics and Marvel Comics.
