Ibrahim Galadari is a dermatologist and currently a professor in United Arab Emirates University and head of Galadari Derma Clinic, a private dermatology practice in Dubai. Venereology is a branch of medicine that is concerned with the study and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Dermatopathology (from Greek , ''derma'' 'skin' + , ''pathos'' 'fate, harm' + , '' -logia'' 'study of') is a joint subspecialty of dermatology and pathology or surgical pathology that focuses on the study of cutaneous diseases at a microscopic and molecular level. It also encompasses analyses of the potential causes of skin diseases at a basic level. Dermatopathologists work in close association with clinical dermatologists, with many possessing further clinical training in dermatology. Dermatologists are able to recognize most skin diseases based on their appearances, anatomic distributions, and behavior. Rashid Hospital
Rashid Hospital (in Arabic: ) is a 786-bed general medical/surgical hospital in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and is a part of the Dubai Health Authority. Built in 1973, it is the city's second oldest hospital, and is located on the Oud Metha Road adjacent to Dubai Creek. The new Trauma Centre at the hospital was completed in mid-2006 after a 7-year period since it was proposed. It can handle 7 ambulances simultaneously. The complex includes a medical library.
