I U (EP)
''I U'' (stylized as ''I□U'') is the first Japanese extended play by South Korean singer-songwriter IU, released on December 14, 2011. It was IU's first release in the Japanese domestic market and was a selection of remastered versions from her original Korean discography of Korean-language songs released between 2008 and 2011. Background and development IU first performed in Japan at two charity concerts for the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami: on May 15, 2011, and the ''Seoul-Osaka Music of Heart 2011 Fighting Japan!'' concert on June 8, 2011. LOEN Entertainment signed IU with Japanese music label EMI Music Japan, now a sublabel of Universal Music Japan. Her Japanese debut was first announced on November 16, 2011, along with the announcement of the extended play. IU (singer)
Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) ''Lost and Found'' (2008). Although her follow-up albums, '' Growing Up'' and '' IU...IM'', brought mainstream success, it was only after the release of " Good Day" ( ko, 좋은 날), the lead single from her 2010 album ''Real'', that she achieved national stardom. ''Real'' (stylized as ''REAL'') is the third Korean-language extended play (EP) by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It was released and distributed by LOEN Entertainment on December 9, 2010. The special edition of the album was sold out during pre-order, which revealed the high anticipation for the album. IU collaborated with some of the top vocalists and producers in South Korea such as Yoon Jong-shin, Kim Hyeong-seok, Lee Min-soo, Kim Eana, Shinsadong Tiger, and Choi Gap-won to work on the album. The album's success strengthened the singer's position as the "Nation's little sister" in her native country. In November 2019, ''Billboard'' magazine compiled a list of the 100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s, with the single " Good Day" ranking at number one. Nagging (IU Song)
"Nagging" () is a song recorded by South Korean singers IU and Lim Seulong. Written by Kim Eana and composed by Lee Min-soo, the pop ballad duet was used as one of the theme songs for the second season of the variety show, ''We Got Married'', along with "We Fell in Love" by Jo Kwon and Ga-in. The song was released on June 3, 2010 and was re-released under the title on December 14, 2011 as part of IU's first Japanese extended play '' I□U'' (2011). Kim Eana
Kim Eana ( ko, 김이나; born April 27, 1979) is a South Korean lyricist. She is best known for writing the lyrics to hit K-pop songs, including "Abracadabra" performed by Brown Eyed Girls, and " Good Day" performed by IU. She has been active since 2003. Career Kim is a songwriter who has written numerous number-one songs on the Korean pop music charts. She has collaborated with Lee Min-soo and has written lyrics for 24K, Son Dam-bi, Shinee, Brown Eyed Girls, IU, VIXX, Exo-CBX, Younha and Sunny Hill. Kim is a lyricist, and has also participated in the promotional and music video aspects of the careers of the artists she has worked with.
