"I Need You Now" is a pop song recorded by the Swedish singer Agnes for her third album '' Dance Love Pop''. The song was written by Anders Hansson and Sharon Vaughn. It was released as the album's second single in the UK in a remixed form. The song was re-sung and completely reproduced during summer 2009 for the single release. It was also released as the third single in the Netherlands on October 9. The song's first radio play was on Friday 11 September on BBC Radio 1's ''Floorfillers'' with Scott Mills. Background "I Need You Now" is a slow song, track number 5 on the album. " On and On" was originally set to be the second single in the UK, but in September a re-recorded version of "I Need You Now" was announced instead. Agnes Emilia Carlsson (born 6 March 1988), known mononymously as Agnes, is a Swedish recording artist. She rose to fame as the winner of Idol 2005, the second season of the Swedish Idol series. The label is a joint venture with Universal, and has developed from their previous partnership with the All Around the World dance music label. 3 Beat Productions is a British independent record label founded by Jon Barlow in 1989. History 3 Beat Music was founded as a dance music record shop in 1989 by Jon Barlow, Dave Nicholl, Phil Southall and later joined by Phil Beddard and Hywell Williams who were students at the time. It began as a second hand record stall in Quiggins, Liverpool and later moved into a permanent location on Wood Street where the shop was managed by Rob Jay and Pezz 3 Beat where it won numerous awards including Music Week's independent record shop of the year. In 2002, the shop expanded and moved to Slater Street. As of 2009, the record shop has changed ownership and is now no longer part of the 3 Beat group. Jens Kindervater (born July 13, 1974) is a German electronic dance music DJ and producer. He is particularly known for the " Michael Mind Project", which he founded together with Francois Sanders in 2007 as "Michael Mind" and renamed in 2010.
