IShares Cup
The Extreme Sailing Series (ESS) (formerly the iShares Cup) was an annual global racing series, organised by OC Sport, which ran from 2007 to 2018. The series started in 2007 with its main attraction being the stadium racing which puts the race course inside a stadium environment for the ease of spectators' viewing. Extreme 40
The Extreme 40 is a class of sailing catamaran created by TornadoSport and designed by Yves Loday. The boats are 40 feet long and are constructed out of carbon fibre. The 2010 Extreme Sailing Series is the fourth edition of the sailing series. This is the first year without iShares as a sponsor. The 2010 series started in Sète, France on 27 May 2010 and ended in Almeria, Spain on 12 October 2010 and took place in 5 cities. Max Sirena
Massimiliano "Max" Sirena (born 4 December 1971 in Rimini) is an Italian sailor who has competed in multiple America's Cups. Biography Sirena sailed with Luna Rossa Challenge in their 2000, 2003 and 2007 Louis Vuitton Cup campaigns as a mid-bowman. Sirena was the wing mast manager for Oracle Racing when they won the 2010 America's Cup. Sirena skippered Luna Rossa Challenge in the 2013 Louis Vuitton Cup. The team won the 2011 Extreme Sailing Series. After Luna Rossa withdrew from the 2017 America's Cup, Sirena joined Team New Zealand in a management role.
