IHF Super Globe
The Men's Super Globe is a handball competition contested between the champion clubs from continental confederations. International Handball Federation
The International Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball. IHF is responsible for the organisation of handball's major international tournaments, notably the IHF World Men's Handball Championship, which commenced in 1938, and the IHF World Women's Handball Championship, which commenced in 1957. IHF was founded in 1946 to oversee international competitions. Headquartered in Basel, its membership now comprises 209 national federations. Each member country must each also be a member of one of the six regional confederations: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Caribbean, Oceania, and South and Central America. El Jaish Handball Team ( ar, فريق الجيش كرة اليد) was the handball team of El Jaish SC, a multisport club based in the Al-Duhail area of Doha, Qatar. The 2013 IHF Super Globe was the seventh edition. It was held in Doha, Qatar at the Al-Gharafa Sports Club Hall from 25–30 August 2013. FC Barcelona won the title for the first time after defeating HSV Hamburg 27–25 in the final. Club Balonmano Neptuno/Atlético Madrid was a Spanish professional handball team based in Madrid, Spain. Part of the Atlético Madrid sports organization. They played two seasons in the Liga ASOBAL and their home court was the Palacio Vistalegre.
