ICY (band)
ICY was a vocal trio consisting of Pálmi Gunnarsson, Helga Möller and Eiríkur Hauksson. They were the first Icelandic entrants to the Eurovision Song Contest, appearing at the 1986 final in Bergen. Their entry, "Gleðibankinn" (English translation: Bank of Fun), placed 16th. Eiríkur Hauksson went on to represent Norway in 1991 as part of the group Just 4 Fun and Iceland again as a solo performer in 2007. ''Morgunblaðið''. Issue 98. (12.04.2007). Just 4 Fun (band)
Just 4 Fun was a Norwegian band from the early 1990s. The members were Marianne Antonsen, Jan Groth, Eiríkur Hauksson and Hanne Krogh. Krogh represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971 and reached the 17th position, 14 years later she won in the band Bobbysocks. Eiríkur Hauksson participated in 1986 for Iceland as a part of the trio ICY, and then again for Iceland in 2007 as a solo artist. The group became famous after giving a few concerts. They represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with the song "Mrs. Thompson". The Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the 52nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Helsinki, Finland, following the country's victory at the with the song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle), the contest was held at the Hartwall Areena, and consisted of a semi-final on 10 May, and a final on 12 May 2007. The two live shows were presented by Finnish television presenter Jaana Pelkonen and musician and TV-host Mikko Leppilampi. The Eurovision Song Contest 1991 was the 36th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Rome, Italy, following the country's victory at the with the song " Insieme: 1992" by Toto Cutugno and was organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Radiotelevisione Italiana (RAI). The contest was held at Studio 15 di Cinecittà on 4 May 1991 and was hosted by former Italian winners Gigliola Cinquetti and Toto Cutugno. Twenty-two countries took part in the contest with participating for the first time since , and the deciding not to participate.
