Huang Yang
Huang Yang (, born 30 October 1983) is a Chinese-born Hong Kongese professional footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Hong Kong Premier League club Kitchee and captains the Hong Kong national team. He was the Hong Kong Footballer of the Year in 2013. Early career Huang played for Shanghai Shenhua's youth academy when he was 15. He was a member of the team that trained in Brazil with São Paulo FC and Portuguesa. He played for China as captain at the 2005 Summer Universiade. and was loaned by Shenhua to Shanghai Qunying. University Huang attended Donghua University and played football at the same time. When he graduated he gave up professional football to start work. Kitchee Sports Club (; ; ) is a Hong Kong professional Association football, football club based in Kowloon. It was founded in 1931 and currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. The 2019 EAFF E-1 Football Championship was the 8th edition of the EAFF E-1 Football Championship, an international football tournament for East Asian countries and territories organized by the EAFF. The Chinese Taipei national football team represents Taiwan (the Republic of China) in international football and is controlled by the Chinese Taipei Football Association. Ernest Merrick OAM (born 15 January 1953) is a Scottish-Australian coach, who last managed A-League soccer club Newcastle Jets. He was released on 6 January 2020. Hong Kong Football Association Sapling Cup (), more commonly known as Sapling Cup (), is a Hong Kong domestic football competition contested by all the teams in the Hong Kong Premier League.
