Ernie Merrick
Ernest Merrick OAM (born 15 January 1953) is a Scottish-Australian coach, who last managed A-League soccer club Newcastle Jets. He was released on 6 January 2020. He was the former head coach of the Hong Kong national football team and A-League clubs Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix. He currently serves as the chief football officer for Football Australia. Kevin Vincent Muscat (born 7 August 1973) is an Australian former association football player and the current manager of Yokohama F. Marinos. As a player, he represented the Australia national team at international level winning 46 caps and scoring 10 goals between 1994 and 2006. The 2016–17 A-League was the 40th season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the 12th since the establishment of the A-League in 2004. The season began on 7 October 2016. Mark Sean Jones (born 5 June 1966) is a former Australian association football player. He last served as manager of the Newcastle Jets. Playing career Jones began his career with Newcastle Rosebud in 1985 before joining Sydney Croatia in 1987, where he enjoyed the most success including winning the NSL Cup in 1987 and made the NSL Grand Final in 1988. He joined Marconi Fairfield in 1990 and spent two seasons at Bossley Park before finishing his career in his hometown with Newcastle Breakers in the 1993/1994 season.
