Houshang Seddigh
Houshang Seddigh ( fa, هوشنگ صدیق; 8 February 1948 – 8 July 2020) was an Iranian fighter pilot. He served as the commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, Air Force from 1983 to 1986. Seddigh ranked colonel when he was appointed to the position on 28 November 1983. According to Pierre Razoux, he was more dynamic than his predecessor Mohammad-Hossein Moeinpour and enjoyed the confidence of the Iranian establishment. Seddigh was replaced by Mansour Sattari in 1986. He died of COVID-19 in Tehran, Seddigh was 72. Amir ( fa, امير), previously known as Timsar ( fa, تيمسار), is the Honorific, honorific title used for Officer (armed forces), officer of highest military ranks, high rank, ranking Second brigadier general (Iran), 2nd Brigadier General and higher in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Zagros Airlines is an Iranian airline headquartered in Tehran and based at Abadan International Airport. History Zagros Airlines was founded in 2005 in Abadan, Iran. Mansour Sattari
Mansour Sattari ( fa, منصور ستاری; also Romanized as Mansoor Sattari) (19 May 1948 – 5 January 1995) was an Iranian Air Force Brigadier general. After serving his compulsory military service in the Army Artillery branch, he joined the Iranian Military Academy and entered the Imperial Iranian Air Force in 1965 in the Ground Force branch. In 1971 he was sent to United States to attend a course in Advanced Radar Control and Battle Management. Upon his return to Iran he was employed as a Radar Defence Control Officer. He implemented many innovative plans to improve radar and counterattack systems that was learnt from the U.S. Air Forces, which proved helpful in disabling offensive capacities of the Iraqi Air Force during the Iran-Iraq War. Mohammad-Hossein Moeinpour
Mohammad-Hossein Moeinpour ( fa, محمدحسین معینپور) was an Iranian military officer. He served as the commander of the Air Force from 2 October 1981 to 25 November 1983. He was a Major at the time appointed to the office, however, he was promoted two ranks and became a colonel to qualify the position. He resigned due to health reasons, however according to Pierre Razoux, Moeinpour was dismissed for his "excessive caution" and for a string of defections of pilots under his command.
