Henk Ten Hoeve
Hendrik (Henk) ten Hoeve (born 15 September 1946) is a Dutch politician. He led the Independent Senate Group (OSF) in the Senate of the States-Generaal from 10 June 2003, until 7 June 2011. From 9 June 2015 to 11 June 2019 he was again leading the OSF in the Dutch Senate. Ten Hoeve was born in Heerenveen, Netherlands. He studied economics at the Netherlands School of Economics in Rotterdam. He is the leader of the board of directors of the Dockingacollege school in Dokkum, having been one of its economics teachers and then its "conrector" (deputy head). Jan Van Der Hoeve
Jan van der Hoeve (13 April 1878 in Santpoort – 26 April 1952 in Leiden) was a Dutch ophthalmologist. He is recognised for his concept of the phakomatoses, often called neurocutaneous syndromes. Van der Hoeve graduated from the University of Leiden and received his doctorate at the University of Bern. He became a professor of ophthalmology at the University of Groningen and later at the University of Leiden. Van der Hoeve became a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1923. He was elected president of the Physical Section of the institute in 1932. Van der Hoeve made one of the earliest descriptions of Waardenburg syndrome, in 1916. History

De Hoeve is not a very old village. For the first time it was mentioned by its name in 1938. On a map of 1664 the territory was only heather. Shortly after that people built two farmhouses: an Oosterhoeve (East Hoeve) and a Westerhoeve (West Hoeve). A new map, drawn in 1718 shows both farmhouses. The area around it is also called Vinkegahoeve and Steggerdahoeve because they are in the neighbourhood of the small villages



Høve
Høve is a village in northwest Zealand with fewer than 200 inhabitants (2011). Høve is located near Sejerø Bay, five kilometers north of Asnæs, 17 kilometers southwest of Nykøbing Sjælland, and 25 kilometers northwest of Holbæk. The village is part of Odsherred Municipality and is in Asnæs Parish. Høve and the surrounding nature Høve is where the road from Asnæs meets the main road stretching from Nykøbing to Slagelse. Next to Høve at 89 meters above sea level is Esterhøj, an ancient burial mound, which has views over Sejerø Bay and much of Lammefjorden. At the top of Esterhøj is a memorial stone commemorating the Schleswig Plebiscites in 1920. In earlier times, Høve, like many other villages, had an active commercial life – there was a coop, a butcher, a baker, a painter, and even a little museum.
