Hithey Dheymee
''Hithey Dheymee'' is a 2011 Maldivian drama film directed by Amjad Ibrahim. Produced by Hussain Ibrahim, Ali Ibrahim and Amjad Ibrahim under Farivaa Films, the film stars Amira Ismail, Hussain Solah, Ali Ahmed, Fathimath Azifa and Aminath Shareef in pivotal roles. The film was released on 20 April 2011. Premise Nadheema, a school teacher marries the only son from a wealthy family, Hisham (Hussain Solah) despite his mother's disapproval since Nadheema is from a middle class family. Upon discovering their relationship, Ahmed ( Ali Ahmed), the best friend of Hisham and who is secretly in love with Nadheema is heartbroken. When Nadheema gets pregnant, they bring a maid, Shifa (Fathimath Azifa) to help them with their responsibilities. Amjad Ibrahim
Amjad Ibrahim Didi (born 11 September 1967), commonly known as Amjad Ibrahim is a Maldivian film director and screenwriter. Early life After completing eleven years of service in Maldives National Defence Force, Ibrahim decided to pursue a career in film direction due to his "fondness" towards film-making process. His first work as a director was Naifaru Dhohokko's video single "Maslahathu Neiy An'binney", followed by directing six songs for the television program, ''Maazeege Handhaan''. Nashidha Mohamed
Nashidha Mohamed is a Maldivian actress. Career Mohamed was first noticed by the owner of the production studio Corona Arts while he was attending an event held in Kulhudhuffushi, where she was performing onstage. Impressed with her appearance and dancing skills, he offered her to star in a video alongside Ahmed Asim. Her next appearance was in Abdul Fattah's horror film '' Eynaa'' (2004), alongside Sheela Najeeb, Mohamed Manik, Ahmed Shah, Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi, and Ibrahim Jihad. Mumthaz Moosa
Mumthaz Moosa is a Maldivian former singer. Career Mumthaz was first heard in the early 2000s where he appeared in some of the local stage shows being performed at that time. After his talent was recognized by the music directors, he was offered to record several songs for studio albums and feature films where the songs "Reydhuvaa Gunamun" from ''Rasfarihi'' (2003) and "Hibakuramey" from ''Saahil'' (2004) were some of his earlier releases in his professional career. Abdul Hannan Moosa Didi (13 June 1959) is a Maldivian singer, music composer and producer. Early life and career At the age of seventeen, Didi started performing casually with his friends which helped him develop self-confidence and improve his singing capabilities. In 1977, he was offered a stage performance in a tourist resort to celebrate one of their occasions, which resulted in him getting several offers. During the time, he was more keen to perform English language songs than Hindustani classical songs. Easa Shareef is a Maldivian film director, actor, screen-writer, editor and lyricist. Career In 1993, Shareef collaborated with Yoosuf Rafeeu for his tragedy drama film '' Vaudhu'' (1993) which narrates the separation of a happy couple due to the societal differences. The following year, he directed and starred in the critically acclaimed film '' Zakham'' (1994) where he played the supportive brother of a young girl who has been forced to marry out of her will. Mohamed Farhad
Mohamed Farhad (18 sep 1999) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Farhad was born on 25 June 1982 in Th. Madifushi. Since childhood, he was exposed to music of several genres which leads him to perform in the stage shows held in some of the occasions. In 2005, he performed the track "Jahanvaane Athaa Athaa" for the album ''Yaahabeys'' (2005) which was ultimately included in Mohamed Abdulla's comedy short film series, '' Falhi Sikunthu 2'' (2005). Rafiyath Rameeza (23 March 1976) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Rafiyath Rameeza was born and raised in the "Rameez family" where several artists including Ali Rameez and Ibrahim Rameez were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. At the age of 12, while studying at Aminiya School, she competed in the Television Maldives Interschool Singing Competition and continued to participate in the same competition for more years. Mohamed Abdul Ghanee
Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes. Mariyam Shahuza is a Maldivian former film actress. Career In 2002, Shahuza appeared in a small role as a doctor in Amjad Ibrahim-directed film ''Kahvalhah Dhaandhen'' (2002). Having disappeared from the screen for almost four years, she made a comeback as a gossip loving friend in the horror film '' Hukuru Vileyrey'' (2006), co-directed by Aishath Rishmy and Aminath Rasheedha which was based on a novel published by Ibrahim Waheed on ''Haveeru Daily'' in 2003.
