Hindi
Hindi (Devanāgarī: or , ), or more precisely Modern Standard Hindi (Devanagari: ), is an Indo-Aryan language spoken chiefly in the Hindi Belt region encompassing parts of northern, central, eastern, and western India. Hindi has been described as a standardised and Sanskritised register of the Hindustani language, which itself is based primarily on the Khariboli dialect of Delhi and neighbouring areas of North India. Hindi, written in the Devanagari script, is one of the two official languages of the Government of India, along with English. It is an official language in nine states and three union territories and an additional official language in three other states. Hindi is also one of the 22 scheduled languages of the Republic of India. Hindi is the '' lingua franca'' of the Hindi Belt. Zee TV (stylised as ZEE TV) is a Hindi general entertainment pay television channel in India. It was launched on 2 October 1992, as the first privately owned TV channel in the country. It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Zee TV also launched in the UK in 1995. Zee TV also launch in USA in Oct 1998 History Zee TV was launched on 2 October 1992, as the flagship channel of the Zee Telefilms Ltd. It began full-day broadcasts in 1993. It is the first private TV channel in India. On 10 January 2007, Zee Telefilms Ltd was renamed into the Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL.). In 2013, Zee TV, along with its sister channels, went over a branding overhaul. On 15 October 2017, coinciding Zee's twenty-five year silver jubilee, all of its channels rebranded. On 30 May 2021, Zee TV planned to revamp its look and air four new television series, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, it was postponed. Viacom18 Media Private Limited is an Indian media and entertainment joint venture between TV18 and Paramount Global based in Mumbai. It was founded in 2007 and owns various channels, as well as content production studios in India. History In January 2010, Viacom18 went international with the launch of Colors in United States. The channel is called Aapka Colors. In July 2010, it got into 50/50 distribution joint venture with Sun Network to form Sun 18. In December 2011, Viacom18 launched Nickelodeon Sonic, targeting young adults. In January 2014, TV18 acquired the non-Telugu language TV assets of ETV Network for ₹2,053 crore, with a permission to use ETV brand name. In March 2015, Viacom18 decided to rebrand all five non-Telugu language ETV regional general entertainment channels. Colors Rishtey is an Indian pay general entertainment television channel that mainly broadcasts re-runs of programming from Colors TV and also airs shows from NDTV Imagine & DD National. International Feeds Of ‘Colors Rishtey’ Also Air Dubbed Shows And Regional Shows. Programs of Pakistani channels have been aired, such as Humsafar. Rishtey rebroadcasts series from many other channels as well. The channel started original production of its shows as well. Sony SAB (formerly SAB TV) is an Indian pay television channel owned by Culver Max Entertainment. History Sony SAB was launched as SAB TV by Gautam Adhikari and Markand Adhikari under their company Sri Adhikari Brothers (thus the acronym) on 23 April 1999. At first, it was launched as a Hindi-language comedy channel. Sony Pictures Networks took over SAB TV in March 2005 and rebranded it as Sony SAB, with a new focus on general entertainment and eventually turning itself into a youth channel.
