Hilary Minster
Roger Michael Hilary Minster (21 March 1944 – 24 November 1999) was an English character actor. Life and career Born in Surrey, England, he is best known for playing General Erich Von Klinkerhoffen in the sitcom '''Allo 'Allo!'' between 1984 and 1992. Other credits include ''Crossroads''; ''Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy''; and a semi-regular role in '' Secret Army'' as Hauptmann Muller. Minster also had a brief period writing scripts with Kenneth Williams for the latter's ''International Cabaret'' television show. In 1974, Minster appeared as Lieutenant Lightfoot in the '' Upstairs, Downstairs'' episode " Facing Fearful Odds". He played the motorcyclist in the TV series The Long Chase. He also appeared twice in ''Doctor Who'', as the Thal soldier Marat in ''Planet of the Daleks'' (1973) and as an unnamed Thal soldier who dangles Sarah Jane Smith from the rocket gantry in ''Genesis of the Daleks'' (1975) alongside fellow 'Allo 'Allo actor Guy Siner. ''The Tomorrow People'' is a British children's science fiction television series created by Roger Price. Produced by Thames Television for the ITV Network, the series first ran from 30 April 1973 to 19 February 1979. The theme music was composed by Australian music composer, Dudley Simpson, who composed music for two BBC science fiction dramas, ''Doctor Who'' (1963) and ''Blake’s 7'' (1978). In 1992, after having much success with replays of the original series in America, Nickelodeon requested Price and Thames Television for a new version to be piloted and filmed at Nickelodeon Studios Florida in April 1992, with Price acting as executive producer. This version used the same basic premise as the original series with some changes, and ran until 8 March 1995. ''Battle of Britain'' is a 1969 British war film directed by Guy Hamilton, and produced by Harry Saltzman and S. Benjamin Fisz. The film documents the events of the Battle of Britain. The film drew many respected British actors to accept roles as key figures of the battle, including Laurence Olivier as Air Chief Marshal Sir Hugh Dowding, Trevor Howard as Air Vice-Marshal Keith Park, and Patrick Wymark as Air Vice-Marshal Trafford Leigh-Mallory. It also starred Michael Caine, Christopher Plummer, and Robert Shaw as Squadron Leaders. The script by James Kennaway and Wilfred Greatorex was based on the book ''The Narrow Margin'' by Derek Wood and Derek Dempster. Putney Vale Cemetery
Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium in southwest London is located in Putney Vale, surrounded by Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. It is located within of parkland. The cemetery was opened in 1891 and the crematorium in 1938. The cemetery was originally laid out on land which had belonged to Newlands Farm, which was established in the medieval period. The cemetery has two chapels, one being a traditional Church of England chapel and the other being used for multi-denomination or non-religious services. It has a large Garden of Remembrance. There are 87 Commonwealth war grave burials from the First World War and 97 from the Second World War in the cemetery. Six Victoria Cross recipients have been buried or cremated here. The burials are scattered throughout the grounds of the cemetery and a Screen Wall Memorial has been erected to record the names of those whose graves are not marked by headstones.
