Hawke's Bay Town
Hawke's Bay Town ( ur, ) is located in Keamari Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Hawke's Bay Town was notified in July 1984 by Karachi Development Authority. It is a residential Scheme for low / medium income group. Hawke's Bay Town is also being developed as a neighbourhood to settle over 250,000 people displaced by the construction of Lyari Expressway. However the entire Hawke's Bay Housing Scheme No.42 is not for the settlement of displaced peoples of the construction of Lyari Expressway. Hawke's Bay Housing Scheme No.42 has been divided into 71 districts, generally known as blocks or sectors. A few of Sectors/Blocks (Sector 6, 9, and 10) has been allotted to displace people of Lyari Expressway, and other sectors/blocks have been allotted to citizens of Pakistan through public ballots, and a few sectors to journalists and government employees. Keamari Town
Keamari Town ( ur, ) lies in the southern part of the city that was named after the historic seaside municipality of Keamari. Kemari Town was formed in 2001 as part of The Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. The town system was disbanded in 2011, and Kemari Town was re-organized as part of Karachi West District in 2015. In 2020, Keamari District was carved out from Karachi West District. So Kemari Town ended up being part of Kemari District. Location Kemari Town comprised the western parts of Karachi, including the Port of Karachi and an extensive coastline of sandy beaches, small islands and Mangrove forests. Karachi Development Authority
Karachi Development Authority (KDA) was established as the city-planning authority of Karachi in 1957, and replaced the earlier Karachi Improvement Trust (KIT). KDA, along with the Lyari Development Authority and Malir Development Authority, is responsible for the development of undeveloped lands around Karachi. Lyari Expressway ( ur, , sd, لیاری بزرگرہ) is a 38 km City Districts of Pakistan, city district Expressways of Pakistan, expressway constructed along the Lyari River in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Hawke's Bay Beach
Hawke's Bay or Hawkesbay is a beach in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, located 20 km southwest of Karachi city. The beach is named after Bladen Wilmer Hawke, who owned a house on the beach during the 1930s. The beach is very popular, with hundreds of people visiting daily for swimming, camel and horse riding, and vacations. Marine Life This beach is known for being a nesting ground of green sea turtle and olive ridley sea turtle during winter months.
