Hard To Swallow
''Hard to Swallow'' is the third studio album by American rapper Vanilla Ice. Released by Republic Records in 1998, the album was the first album Vanilla Ice recorded after a four-year hiatus following the 1994 release of '' Mind Blowin''. Vanilla Ice intended the new musical direction found on the album as an attempt to move away from hip hop music and discard his former pop image. ''Hard to Swallow'' instead featured what he described as "skate rock", a fusion of heavy metal, punk rock and hip hop. The album features appearances from Amen vocalist Casey Chaos, Bloodhound Gang vocalist Jimmy Pop, and Insane Poetry front man Cyco. Grunge
Grunge (sometimes referred to as the Seattle sound) is an alternative rock genre and subculture that emerged during the in the American Pacific Northwest state of Washington, particularly in Seattle and nearby towns. Sonny Mayo (born July 16, 1971) is an American guitarist. Career Mayo began playing in a thrash metal band called Silence in the late 1980s. Silence (John Mayes, Benjamin Gaither, Louie Denslow, Jason Robinson and Sonny), regularly sold out venues in the DC Metro area including the "Bayou" in Georgetown. While with Silence, he released a nine track CD, ''Vision'', and recorded a three song tape with Alex Perialas (producer -Anthrax, Overkill, S.O.D.). Scott Borland
Scott Borland (born February 14, 1979) is an American musician. Borland is the co-founder, along with his older brother Wes Borland, of the American metal band Big Dumb Face. Scott Borland also contributed to the first three albums by his brother's band Limp Bizkit. Biography Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Scott went to middle school and high school in Jacksonville, FL, and took an interest in bass guitar, starting to play together with his brother Wes.
