Højby Church (Odsherred)
Højby Church is located in the village of Højby in Odsherred, northwestern Zealand (Denmark), Zealand, Denmark. Dating back to the beginning of the 12th century, it is constructed in granite. Several modifications have taken place since the original construction including a porch in the 13th century, Gothic cross vault, cross-vaulting in the nave and chancel in the 14th century, a tower around the year 1400 as well as a vestry, a chapel and a new entrance porch towards the end of the Middle Ages. Wall paintings The church is recognized for its fine wall paintings or kalkmalerier which are considered to be among the best in the country from the late Gothic period. They were probably created at the beginning of the 15th century, shortly after the cross vaults were added. They were discovered in 1901 and have been restored on several occasions. Kolding IF Women is a women's football club from Kolding, Denmark, playing in Elitedivisionen, the premier Danish women's football league. The club is currently playing in the Danish top division, the Elitedivisionen, and they play their home matches at the Kolding Stadium. The team was previously named KoldingQ. History The club was established on 1 August 2009 as a cooperation between the women's department of Nr. Bjært Strandhuse IF and Kolding Boldklub. Stina Lykke Petersen Borg (born 9 February 1986) is a Danish football goalkeeper who plays for Danish club KoldingQ and formerly the Denmark national team. She has played college soccer in America with the Rollins Tars, and played for professional clubs in Germany and Sweden, as well as in her native Denmark. She won 83 senior caps for Denmark between 2011 and 2018. Club career Lykke Borg began playing football aged five in her hometown Højby. In 2007, she attended Rollins College in Florida and played NCAA college soccer. Following a successful UEFA European Championship 2013 tournament with Denmark, Lykke Borg secured a transfer from Brøndby to FCR 2001 Duisburg. Mark Flindt Haastrup (born 16 April 1984) is a Danish professional golfer. Haastrup was born in Højby. He attended Georgia State University for two years before turning professional in 2007. He claimed his maiden professional victory on the second tier Challenge Tour the following year, and finished a consistent 2009 season by gaining his card for the top level European Tour at qualifying school. In his first full season on the European Tour he finished at 117 on the Race to Dubai list, and got a medical exemption card for 2011 because of a broken wrist. The following years he struggled to get back on the European Tour. In 2016 he won four tournaments on the Nordic Golf League and finished first on the Order of Merit, which gave him a full card back on the Challenge Tour.
