The Chile Open, or the Abierto de Chile, is a men's professional golf tournament that was first played in 1927. From 2013 through 2015 it was an event on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. It moved to the PGA Tour Latinoamérica Developmental Series in 2016 and back to the PGA Tour Latinoamérica in 2018. Guillermo "Mito" Pereira Hinke (born 31 March 1995) is a Chilean professional golfer who plays in the LIV Golf League. The 2018 PGA Tour Latinoamérica was the seventh season of PGA Tour Latinoamérica. PGA Tour Latinoamérica was operated and run by the PGA Tour. The season began in March at the Stella Artois Open in Antigua, Guatemala and concluded in December at the Shell Championship at Trump National Doral Miami, marking the return of a PGA Tour-sanctioned event to the Miami resort that hosted events from 1962 to 2016.
