Hussein Monzer
Hussein Ali Monzer ( ar, حسين علي منذر, ; born 20 March 1997) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Shabab Sahel. Club career On 24 May 2023, Monzer joined Shabab Sahel on a five-year contract. International career Monzer played for the Lebanon national under-19 team during the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship qualification, playing three times and scoring once. He also played for the U23 team during the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification, playing in all three games, as well as in two 2020 qualifications games, scoring against the Maldives in a 6–0 victory. He made his debut for the senior team on 30 July 2019, in a 1–0 defeat against Iraq at the 2019 WAFF Championship. Al Ahed Football Club ( ar, نادي العهد الرياضي, lit=The Covenant Sporting Club) is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The Lebanese First Division ( ar, الدوري اللبناني الدرجة الأولى), commonly known as the Lebanese Premier League (), is the top division of the Lebanese football league system. There are 12 teams competing in the league, which operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Lebanese Second Division. The 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup was the 47th edition of the national football cup competition of Lebanon. It started with the First Round on 12 October 2018 and concluded with the final on 25 May 2019. Defending champions Ahed beat Ansar in the final to win their second consecutive Lebanese FA Cup, their sixth in total. The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is a Lebanese football annual cup competition. The first edition, held in 1937, was won by Nahda. The most successful club in the competition is Ansar with 15 titles, followed by Nejmeh with seven. Ansar have also contested the most finals with 20, followed by Nejmeh with 16. Summary Regulations Each club has to involve two players under the age of 21 for at least 2,000 combined minutes, and three players for 3,000 combined minutes.
