Humbert Boerleider
Humbert Ronald Boerleider (17 August 1935 - 19 August 2016), known as Boelie, was a Surinamese football manager and player who played as a midfielder in the Surinamese Hoofdklasse for S.V. Transvaal. He also played one season in the SVB Derde Klasse for V.V. Ajax before returning to Transvaal. He was an assistant coach for Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, and managed S.V. Transvaal and the Suriname national team for the nations 1974 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign. He later moved into radio broadcasting, hosting 'de ochtendsport' weekday mornings, and 'Sportrevue' on Sundays on RadioApintie. Boerleider died on 19 August 2016 in Paramaribo, aged 81. Career Boerleider began his playing career on the 'Plein van 12 mei' at age 10, before moving to the Mr. Bronsplein where he played for Klein Maar Dapper together with future S.V. Onverwacht, Suriname
Onverwacht ( Dutch for "unexpected". Sranan Tongo: ''Bose'') is the capital town of Para District, Suriname. Onverwacht started as a wood plantation with the same name and has existed as early as 1667. On 18 May 1881, the plantation was sold to eight former slaves. In 1910 the Lawa Railway passed through the area and a station was opened. In 1936, a road, currently named Indira Gandhiweg, was built parallel to the railway line to connect Paramaribo with Onverwacht. CONCACAF Champions Cup
The CONCACAF Champions League, known officially as the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons, is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF. The tournament is contested by clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The winner of the CONCACAF Champions League automatically qualifies for the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. The tournament currently uses a knockout format; it had a group stage prior to the 2018 competition. Unlike its European and South American counterparts, the winner of the CONCACAF Champions League does not automatically qualify for the following season's competition. SVB Hoofdklasse
The SVB Eerste Divisie is the highest football championship for clubs run by the Surinaamse Voetbal Bond. The Topklasse is at the top of the system of Surinamese football championships. The league currently comprises twelve teams and operates a system of promotion and relegation. Seasons run from November to June of the next year, with teams playing 30 games in the regular season. The league was known as the Hoofdklasse but became Topklasse beginning with the 2016–17 season, and then from the 2017–18 season forward, the Eerste Divisie. Trinidad And Tobago National Football Team
The Trinidad and Tobago national football team, nicknamed the " Soca Warriors", represents the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in international football. Zeist () is the capital and largest town of the municipality of Zeist. The town is located in the Utrecht province of the Netherlands, east of the city of Utrecht.
