Hugo Stenbeck
Edvard ''Hugo'' Stenbeck (15 October 1890 – 6 January 1977) was a Swedish lawyer and founder of Investment AB Kinnevik. He belonged to a group called in to investigate the collapse of Ivar Kreuger's financial empire. Two of his children became famous in their own right – Jan Stenbeck took over and transformed the family company and Margaretha af Ugglas became foreign minister. His granddaughter, Cristina Stenbeck is now in charge of the family companies. Early life Stenbeck was born on 15 October 1890 in Uppsala, Sweden, the son of banker Nils Stenbeck and his wife Maria Rydberg. He received a Candidate of Law degree from Uppsala University in 1914. Career Stenbeck was the owner of the law firm Advokatfirman Lagerlöf in Stockholm from 1923. He was a member of the Swedish Bar Association from 1924. Värmlands nation is one of the 13 student nations at Uppsala University. Värmlands nation catchment corresponds to Karlstad diocese, that is, the regions Värmland and Dalsland. No formal requirement related to any of these landscapes are nowadays a must. The nation has a wide range of activities, in addition to the nation's restaurant, café, pub and party activities the nation also has a library to borrow literature from. The Royal Order of the Polar Star (Swedish: ''Kungliga Nordstjärneorden'') is a Swedish order of chivalry created by King Frederick I on 23 February 1748, together with the Order of the Sword and the Order of the Seraphim. The Order of the Polar Star was until 1975 intended as a reward for Swedish and foreign "civic merits, for devotion to duty, for science, literary, learned and useful works and for new and beneficial institutions". Its motto is, as seen on the blue enameled centre of the badge, ''Nescit Occasum'', a Latin phrase meaning "It knows no decline". Order Of Vasa
The Royal Order of Vasa () is a Swedish order of chivalry, awarded to citizens of Sweden for service to state and society especially in the fields of agriculture, mining and commerce. It was instituted on 29 May 1772 by King Gustav III. It was unrestricted by birth or education and could therefore be awarded to anyone (as opposed to the Order of the Polar Star, which was intended as a reward for the learned professions). It was the most junior of all the Swedish orders. It was often awarded to Norwegian subjects of the dual monarchy until Oscar I founded the Norwegian Order of St. Olav in 1847. Since 1974 the order is no longer conferred: officially it has been declared as "dormant", along with the Order of the Sword. History and profile The newspaper was founded by Lars Johan Hierta in December 1830 under the name of ''Aftonbladet i Stockholm'' during the modernization of Sweden. Engelbrekt Church ( sv, Engelbrektskyrkan) is a protected church located in the Lärkstaden area of Stockholm, Sweden. Its located at Östermalm and belongs to the Church of Sweden and is parish church for Engelbrekt Parish in the Diocese of Stockholm. It was designed by architect Lars Israel Wahlman in the National Romantic style and completed in 1914. It is one of the largest churches in Stockholm, with 1,400 seats. In the spirit of romantic nationalism, the church was named after Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson – a Swedish 15th century rebel leader and national hero. It was built atop a hill in the years 1910–14, after a design competition held in 1906.
