Hov1
Hov1 (pronounced Hovet) are a Swedish hip hop group formed in 2015 signed to EMI Sweden / Universal Music Sweden. The group has released four studio albums; ''Hov1'', ''Gudarna på Västerbron'', ''Vindar på Mars'', '' Barn av vår tid'', and one mixtape '' Montague''. They all charted atop the Swedish Albums Chart. The group have had 26 top 10 hits on the Swedish Singles Chart, with 12 of them reaching the top spot. History 2015–2018: First releases and projects Made up of Ludwig Kronstrand, Noel Flike, Dante Lindhe and Axel Liljefors Jansson, Hov1's debut hit single was "Hur kan du säga saker", which was released in 2015. They released their self-titled debut album ''Hov1'' in April 2017, promoting it with the "Abbey Road Tour". The follow-up album was ''Gudarna på Västerbron'', released in April 2018. Gudarna På Västerbron
''Gudarna på Västerbron'' is the second studio album by Swedish hip hop group Hov1, with the first being their self-titled debut album, ''Hov1''. ''Gudarna på Västerbron'' was released on 6 April 2018 as digital download and on streaming platforms, through Universal Music. The album was recorded in a studio in Hornstull, Sweden and proved successful in the country, debuting at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart. As of 2 May 2020, the album has charted for a total of 108 weeks in Sweden. ''Gudarna på Västerbron'' also placed at number one on the Album year-end chart in 2018 in Sweden, as well as number seven on the chart for 2019. ''Vindar på Mars'' is the third studio album by Swedish hip hop group Hov1. It was released through Universal Music on 17 May 2019. The album was, alike its predecessors, successful in Sweden and it debuted at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart, thus making it Hov1's third consecutive number one album in the country. As of 3 May 2020, it has charted for a total of 50 weeks. ''Vindar på Mars'' subsequently placed at number two on the Album year-end chart in Sweden for 2019. The album also marked the first of Hov1's releases to chart outside of Sweden, peaking at number 25 on the Finnish Albums Chart. ''Barn av vår tid'' is the fourth studio album by Swedish hip hop group Hov1, released on 1 October 2021 by EMI and Universal. It charted atop the national albums chart in Sweden, and has been certified Gold by the Swedish Recording Industry Association. The album's first three singles reached number-one in Sweden. The title track was released as the first single on 15 January 2021. Its cover, a pastiche of the album art of Kanye West's ''My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'', features a pixellated photograph of Pernilla Wahlgren from a 2001 ''Café'' photoshoot. Montague (album)
''Montague'' is the fourth release by Swedish hip hop group Hov1 but their first mixtape. The mixtape was released on 10 January 2020 on streaming services as well as a digital download. It serves as the group's fourth number one "album" on the Swedish Albums Chart, where it debuted at that position. The mixtape is also the second of Hov1's albums to chart on the Finnish Albums Chart, where it placed at number 40. As previous releases, the mixtape was mainly produced by the group's producer and member Axel Liljefors Jansson, while all members share writing credits on all tracks. Jens Resch Thomason helped with producing two tracks on the Mixtape: "Mitten av september" and "Brev ifrån en storstad". Jireel Lavia Pereira, born 29 March 2000 in Angola, is a Swedish rapper best known under his artist name Jireel. In 2017, he released his debut EP ''Jettad''. In 2018, he released his debut studio album, ''18'', for which he won a Grammis award in the category "Hip Hop/Soul of the Year" in 2019. Salah Abdi Abdulle (born 17 September 1994), known professionally as Dree Low, is a former Swedish rapper and songwriter of Somali origin. He lives in Husby in western Stockholm. He broke through in 2019 with his albums ''No hasta mañana'' and ''Flawless''. In September 2019, ''Flawless'' topped the Swedish Albums Chart and his single "Pippi" topped the Swedish Singles Chart. Einár (rapper)
Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg (5 September 2002 – 21 October 2021), who was commonly known as Einár, was a Swedish rapper. He released four albums, two of which topped the Swedish album chart. In 2019, he won the Musikförläggarnas pris for Breakthrough of the Year and in 2020 he won two Grammis, Sweden's oldest pop music awards. Two of his singles peaked at number one on the Swedish singles chart and four have been certified platinum by the Swedish Recording Industry Association (SRIA). Veronica Sandra Karin Maggio (born 15 March 1981) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Born to an Italian father and a Swedish mother, Maggio was raised in Uppsala. After studying music and being the lead member of a band, Maggio released her debut single, " Dumpa mig" in 2006 under Universal Music.
