Hotel Hell Vacation
''Hotel Hell Vacation'' is an American online comedy short film released on February 7, 2010 on HomeAway's website. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold. It was the first time Clark and Ellen had been seen in a ''Vacation'' film since 1997's ''Vegas Vacation''; they later appeared together again in 2015's ''Vacation''. The fourteen-minute short premiered as a series of commercials during the Super Bowl to help promote HomeAway, Inc. Although sanctioned by Warner Bros. (which holds the underlying rights to the ''Vacation'' series characters and concepts), this film was not sponsored by National Lampoon, Inc., which initiated the ''Vacation'' series. HomeAway planned to use Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo in a national advertising campaign to resemble ''National Lampoon’s Vacation''. Bryan Buckley
Bryan Buckley is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and two-time Academy Award nominated director. His successful career has led to him being dubbed the "King of the Super Bowl". Buckley's directorial debut came with a series of commercials he created for NHL on ESPN, before creating the "This is '' SportsCenter''" campaign for ESPN in 1999. The work became a part of the ESPN brand, and launched Buckley into the commercial world. Buckley would go on to direct 64 Super Bowl commercials. He has directed two feature films and four short films. Glenn Rockowitz (born May 27, 1970) is an American writer, filmmaker, comedian and voice actor. He lives in Seattle, Washington. Education and early career Rockowitz was born in Plainview, New York. Rockowitz spent the first eight years of his life in New York City (NYC). He left NYC to move to Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated from Arcadia High School in 1988.
