Cape Collinson
Cape Collinson (), also Hak Kok Tau (), is a cape located near Ngan Wan between Siu Sai Wan and Big Wave Bay at the eastmost point of Hong Kong Island. It faces Tathong Channel. Name The cape is named for Major-General Thomas Bernard Collinson (1821-1902), a Royal Engineers surveyor serving in Hong Kong and later in New Zealand who, then holding the rank of lieutenant, surveyed Hong Kong Island from 1843 to 1846. Features Cape Collinson Road runs from Chai Wan up the slope of Pottinger Peak to the east coast until it reaches south of the Cape Collinson Correctional Institution in Tso Tui Wan. Right before reaching the east coast, the road intersects with the connection point of a hiking route running south from Siu Sai Wan Promenade (via Leaping Dragon Walk) to Shek O Country Park and Big Wave Bay (via Pottinger Peak Country Trail). Hong Kong Buddhist Association () is a Buddhist umbrella organisation in Hong Kong which was founded in 1945. The association has nearly ten thousands individual members including both monastic and laity, and promotes the propagation of Buddhism in Hong Kong. It also provides a series of charity services in Hong Kong, including education, medical, child care, youth activities, elderly care and burial. Henry Fok
Henry Fok Ying Tung (10 May 1923 – 28 October 2006) was a Hong Kong businessman. He has ancestral roots in Lianxi Village, Panyu, now part of Guangzhou, Guangdong. Fok was the vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of PRC since March 1993, and was possibly the most powerful Hongkonger in the politics of the People's Republic of China. In 2006, the Forbes Magazine ranked Henry Fok the 7th wealthiest tycoon in Hong Kong and 181st wealthiest tycoon in the world, with an established net worth of $3.7 billion. Tung Chee-hwa (; born 7 July 1937) is a Hong Kong businessman and politician who served as the first Chief Executive of Hong Kong between 1997 and 2005, upon the transfer of sovereignty on 1 July. He is currently a vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Born as the eldest son of Chinese shipping magnate Tung Chao Yung, who founded Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), Tung took over the family business after his father's death in 1981. Ho Sin Hang (; 1900 – 4 December 1997), also known as S. H. Ho and He Shanheng, was a Hong Kong entrepreneur, philanthropist and financier. He co-founded Hang Seng Bank in 1933, and served as its chairman. Ho also cofounded the Hang Chong Investment Co Ltd. and Dah Chong Hong Ltd., and was the first chairman of New World Development Company. Ho was a renowned philanthropist. In 1970 he founded the S.H.
